j1232eParticipanttony parker the 7th greatest pg. Marbury even in your top 15. John stockton #10 stock is one of the greatest of all time.Actually after looking at it again it is very bad. I have question about everything. Boozer the 10th best power forward of all time come one, he might barly crack the top 5 of current power forwards. poor list.

marcusfizer21ParticipantJohn Stockton at 10???? Are you kidding me or what? Deron Williams, Baron Davis and Tony Parker should be AFTER Stockton…the all-time leader in assists…Carmelo in top 10 is a no-no… He forces his ugly game and he feels like he’s a superstar… OVERRATED!

ckowalskiParticipantI can’t believe you have Shaq as the greatest center of all time. And that Bill Russell is all the way down at number 6. And please tell me the number 14 center of all time is not Ben Wallace.

da guruall those players career averages are better than stocktons and they would kill him head to head

da gurulook at chris mullin stats with golden state
0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/17/2009 - 6:51am #183347
da gurushaq will destroy bill russell and russell played wit short ass players

ckowalskiParticipantSo what is your whole reasoning on this list? Best statistics? Most championships? Head to Head? What? If you go by stats there is no way that some of these guys are on there. Shaq is not the greatest center ever, that’s ridiculous. Bill Russell would be at the very least top 3 IMO, the guy has 11 championships as a player. What do you mean by he played with short players? Russell played with a lot of the guys on your list and he didn’t dominate because he was tall he dominated because he was simply better than everyone else. The guy was not even 7 feet tall and he averaged 22 RPG over his CAREER. When is Shaq, or Yao, or Dikembe, or Robinson, or Olajuwon going to do that? A lot of these selections are kind of crazy man. Mcdyess the 15th best power forward ever? Gasol the 11th best power forward ever? Marbury the 13th best PG ever? Based on what? Gasol has 1 championship and a whole lot of nothing for his career. I’m surprised you didn’t round out the list with Mbenga. At the very least this list should consist of guys that are in the HOF or virtual locks for the HOF, I mean we’re only talking about a list of 65 players. You can’t put players on this list that will only get in the HOF if they pay admission, that’s just ridiculous.

da guruthere are players in the hall of fame by just playing on good teams like say james worthy now head to head you can say shawn marion is better than james worthy stat wise and talent wise bob cousy is a hall of famer but stephon marbury got career averages of 20ppg and 8apg and he is a better talent im basing this list on career numbers in their prime, and overall talent all hall of famers werent special talents or franchise players like stockton he was good but hes no franchise player like dwill and baron davis

bluedevils12Participantthis list is pure terrible!how in the blue hell can u put Jon stockton so low? z ilguaskas made the list? boozer? manu before ray ray? o and my favorite: Mullens over wilkins? please Revise before i throw up

nthegoodlifeParticipantand so does your list. You’ve disrespected generations of players and the league itself. How old are you (seriously)? If this is all you have to offer this community, then STFU!!!! I’m not huge on many players of the past, but you are beyond out of line. You have LeBron as the greatest sf ever, are you fucking kidding me. Maybe one day, but he has a lot to accomplish to surpass the great Larry Legend. Shaq the greatest center, please, maybe the most dominating ever. Check the 94 finals, when the DREAM dominates shaq and the magic. It was a sweep. Shaq is physically imposing, but never really had skill, he still can’t even shoot a free throw.
WTF moments?
L Johnson
J Oneal
C Webb
A Jefferson
K Durant (huge fan, but nowhere near qualified for this list-maybe one day)
G Robinson
Melo
B Davis
Iverson
Marbury
T Parker
Arenas
M Finley
S Marion
A McDyess
Big Z
Camby
Artest
Granger
G Hill (to many injuries, was great in his prime)
Ginobili
Penny
Gasol (maybe in a few more years)
Boozer
Big Ben
VC
Where is Kevin McHale
How about Parish
The Glove is way to low
Stockton should be no lower than 3rd best on ANY list
What about Nate?I could go on and on, but I’m done. Maybe you should actually watch basketball sometime.

da guruu guys know nothing research those players
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/18/2009 - 1:40pm #184031
j1232eParticipantstockton is the all time leader in steals and assists. maybe you should do a little research. 10 yr. olds should not be making lists of alltime basketball rankings.

da guruu guys just infatuated with big names didnt even look at no stats
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:12am #186264
nthegoodlifeParticipantNo one is infatuated with “big” names so to speak, instead we acknowledge the past legends how they should be. Maybe you should become “infatuated” with grammar, atleast you would then have something going for you.

da gurulook at some of the players numbers in their prime
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 12:29pm #188727
j1232eParticipantstocton started until he was 41. If calderon is so much better than stockton shouldn’t he start until he is 41 also. calderon will start for maybe 5-6 more seasons.

thepoopsmithParticipanti would’ve commented sooner, but i saw the list, threw up out of rage, then passed out for 2 weeks. this is just…bad. my personal fav: kevin durant (with 2 years of NBA experience) ranked 2 places higher than dominique wilkins. and you can argue stockton is the best ever at his position…definately no worse than 3rd.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/24/2009 - 4:11pm #189593
da guruif you was drafting theres no way youll take stockton 3rd with that list of pgs!!!!!!!
domonique wilkins was a great scorer on losing teams he cant make the big shot for the game i bet durant can!!
0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/24/2009 - 4:26pm #189614
j1232eParticipantif you were old enough to remember the 80’s hawks they were pretty good, made it to they easstern finals.
