CoolidgerParticipantThere’s a significant drop off between the top 3 and the next ones down, but that’s a solid list of underrated plays all the way to ten.
People aren’t gonna take LeBron over Magic kindly, but I think when it’s all said and done and LeBrons career is over, that’ll be the right choice.

ProudGrandpaParticipantI think Larry Johnson is one of the best Johnson’s ever to play. Also, Marques Johnson averaged over 20 PPG and 7 RPG over 11 seasons.

druneave3ParticipantSurprised no one hasn’t blasted you for putting LeBron ahead of Magic. When making a GOAT list James is never put ahead of Magic just yet. I totally agree with you but I always get killed when I rank Bron (#2) ahead of Magic on my GOAT list.
What about Mark Jackson?

Memphis MadnessParticipantLeBron already has more MVP’s than Magic. He has also done the back to back title thing but Magic is slightly ahead still. 5 rings helps.
Magic actually has the best career 10 years in just about. Better than Jordan. 10 years in Magic had five rings and two MVPs along with his
3 Finals MVPs.Jordan had the best career after year 10. 3 more rings, 3 Finals MVPs, and two regular season MVP awards. 3 more scoring titles too.
Jordan’s career in year 11 and on put him over the top. If LeBron has a similar run for the next few years then he could be up for GOAT.0 - Posted on: Sun, 08/11/2013 - 6:59pm #832725

SuckerpunchParticipantI think Mark Jackson should be considered. Career averages of 9.6 points and 8.0 assists per game. 1988 Rookie of the Year. Led the league in assists in 1997 with 11.4 per game. Only a one time all-star and no rings lets him down.
Other than that he was a great point guard and team leader.0 - Posted on: Sun, 08/11/2013 - 9:17pm #832752

theEDGEParticipantK.C. Jones is a Hall of Famer although I wouldn’t put him in this list.
Since I started following the NBA(mid 90’s) I think that these guys should get honorable mentions:
Avery Johnson, Eddie Jones en Richard Jefferson.0- Posted on: Mon, 08/12/2013 - 8:16am #832857
jmarg25ParticipantYes, all of those three guys were in the conversation, but not K.C. Jones. He was known more as a coach.
