For_Never_EverParticipantDanny Ainge, said he wasn’t going to keep the core Celtics players until the end of their careers like Red did with Bird, Kevin, Parish and the other guys. Damn, I remember after those guys retiring the Celtics were a awful team for 10/15 years.

joshinator1ParticipantAlso very minor trade Warriors trade Jeremy Tyler to Atlanta and Charles Jenkins to Philadelphia and Warriors receive some draft considerations from both that I am not sure about and cash. This puts the Warriors under the luxury tax, which they have never had to pay before.

Seamo15ParticipantI thought Maynor would fetch a higher price than Brewer, seems like a year ago he would have been worth a bit more. Sad to seem Warrick got to Magic, more than likely get waived. Had a few good games this season at Charlotte too

Chilbert arenasParticipantMaynor and Brewer were two separate trades. Okc got 2nd round pick for maynor

Every where I’ve read it was just for a trade exception.

Meditated StatesParticipantReggie Lewis dying and Len Bias too. I remember the Celtics sucking and still not getting Tim Duncan. Place your fates in the bounce of ping pong balls and having your team suck? Stupid.Trade them for who Never Ever? None of those guys were worth it. You could get more in the off season.

For_Never_EverParticipantThe Clippers trade made sense, think about it. KG wouldn’t waive his no trade. The C’s could have gotten a high potential future All Star caliber Pg in Eric Bledseo. Jordan a young athletic defensive big that can start over the majority of the centers in the league. Then they have some young promissing talent, and be able to take the time to flip Rondo since he is always in trade talk already. They should have somehow convinced it is the best for everyone, because I have my suspension that KG is retiring after this year anyways.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantJosh Smith clearly wanted out of Atlanta…He tweeted ”Whats going on ATL, im still here”…It seems they couldve gotten something for him, instead of losing him for nothing during the summer…….Memphis coach Hollins had been hoping the team would trade either Daye or Ed Davis for a shooting guard…….But they got something they didnt need another big man in Dexter Pittman…
