Charlie SheenParticipantHornets – #2 overall pick and Gerald Henderson
Bobcats- Amare Stoudemire, #10 overall pick and Trevor Ariza
Knicks- Eric Gordon, Carl Landry and Jarrett Jack
Hornets get another top pick to build around AD and MKG along with some freed up cap space
Bobcats get a star plus the #10 pick to still get a young player like Austin Rivers or Perry Jones
Knicks get a better 2nd option to put next to Carmelo as well as a couple back ups. They could get Odom and hopefully win the hearing and resign everyone and have solid depth
C- Chandler/Harrellson/Jordan
F- Odom/Landry
F- Anthony/Smith/Novak
G- Gordon/Shumpert
G- Lin/Jack/Douglas2nd round pick could be a combo guard like Jared Cunningham

TyroberParticipantWhy include Amare at all here? Wouldn’t the Bobcats rather have Gordon than Amare?

TruettParticipantYou can’t trade someone who is not under a contract to your club…

benny15ParticipantAmare to the bobcats would not be a wise choice for Charlote. you dont want a maxed out uninsuredcontract on a big man with health issues. like tyrober said, theres no need to include the knicks in the deal since all new orleans is getting from the bobcats anyway. would a line-up of Biyombo, Thomas, Ariza, Gordon and Jack be so much better than their position now, not really. too many gapping holes. they’re better off with the 2nd pick and accumalating their young talent than trying to fast forward their rebuilding stage without having talented players in the roster wasting their prime years.
its not like we’re talking about a team such as the warriors who should be competing now with Bogut, Lee and Curry all aged 25 or higher who needs to be making the play-offs now even if its in the bottom seeds. and we’re not even bringing up the concept of trading free agents to be in the draft.
