Hoopshype still to this day has a players page with little player profiles written about every player on his respective page. I encourage ya’ll to read through the player profiles in the link from the past and see what the consensus opinions were on players in the year 2002.

"Good shot off the dribble… Undersized for his position… Gret quickness… Needs to increase his accuracy from beyond the arc… Still too young… Needs time."

Rip255The Shawn Kemp one is pretty harsh
Once a star… No longer… He is nothing but a source of problems for the Blazers… Too many pounds, drugs and one of the biggest salaries in the league… Untradeable… Finishes his contract in 2004… Being optimistic, you can say that things can’t get much worse with him… He’s trying to lose some weight and give up cocaine… Has a better jumper now, but his athleticism is something of the past
