Although we bash them, does anyone else get as excited as I do to see another trade idea???

    First simple trade-
Hawks send Deshawn Stevenson to Denver for Mozgov.
Hawks get a potential Center next to Hortford, Denver gets a real sg and a 3 point shooter, which is a their weakness.

    2nd trade
Hawks are holding out for Howard, but its been reported that hes not fond of going home. That’s pretty much the only time he has ever known what he wanted :-/ I say Atlanta throws this idea out and continue to shop Josh SMith, and Im assuming he was the main attraction for Howard. It’s been reported that teams has cooled off on the idea of acquiring Smith- well I think the Lakers will still be interested. They need to move Gasol, and need to make Howard want to stay in LA. This is the reason that they pursued Smith earlier in the season.

Lakers- Get Howard’s bff to have the frontcourt w/ the best “combination” of athelticism and talent in the league.
Side Note: I also think the Lakers needs to add a Big to replace Hill. They will need it if they make the playoffs.

Denver- Coach Karl commented recently that McGee is Stupid and Lazy. I think that was to light a fire under him and that Karl doesnt hate him, but they must be rethinking the $10 mill/4 yr deal they gave him. Gasol provides an upgrade at the center position, and should mesh perfectly with Faried in the frontcourt. They also get a real sg in Stevenson (Igoudala/Brewer starts at the 2). Stevenson also brings in a 3 point shot, which may be Denver’s weakness.
    Lawson-Igoudala-Galanari-Faried-Gasol
    Bench Miller-Stevenson-Brewer-Randolph-Koufos/Mozgov

Hawks- Get a true center finally to pair with Hortford, they get a very good starting SF in Chandler, and a very good prospect in Hamilton. I really like Hamilton potential to be a two way player in this league. He could be their future sg, or at the least a very good sg/sf off the bench.
    Teague-Jenkins-Chandler-Hortford-McGee
    Bench Low Williams-Hamilton

****Even with this deal, Atlanta will be about $20 million under the cap space. They can pursue say a Tyreke Evans if they believe in his potential. They will have Teague as a RFA, who is straight up balling right now, and should be able to resign to a good deal.****

As soon as I post this, I see aamir543’s post that Gasol has a plantar fasciitis strain. What’s the worst case scenerio for his return? If not too long- I can see Denver doing this deal still, just to rid themselves of McGee’s deal. Koufos starts at the 5 and Mazgov can now get PT until Gasol returns healthy. They will miss Chandler, but again, they are deep at the wing positions.

Hawks get Glen Davis and Fields for Josh Smith? And for some reason you think the Magic want Bargnanis contract?
