kuphal_99ParticipantWould anyone else out there be willing to move Flynn? I know it was only one year but I just don’t see him as being a distributing kind of PG. He is always looking for his shot. If we could find anyone to give us a mid round 1st I would take. Then target Eric Bledsoe. I think this guy will be the steal of the draft in 2 years. Plus he is tall, long, and athletic enough to play really well next to Rubio.

Jayhawks2011ParticipantIt would be fine to move Flynn, but i do not think that we should trade him only to draft another pg. We could draft one in the second round to be a back up to Sessions until Rubio comes. Also, the only way you trade Flynn is for a all-star wing player, maybe a Jefferson Flynn for Granger Deal would be a good one to trade.

Captain LParticipantI give you that he is long and athletic, but not that he is tall enough, I think he measures just over 6’1″.

mds0549ParticipantRemember that the triangle offense doesn’t require a strong PG and Flynn showed some spark last year. I would like to see some continuity in that position and find out how much he can grow into the starter this year.

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantYou don’t give up on a talented young pt guard that quickly. Look at the teams that gave up on Billups… they’re still kicking themselves and he’s just a few years from retirement. Point guard is the hardest position on the court to come in and play as a rookie…. and it doesn’t help having him start in a unconventional offense with other young players trying to learn the same things.

OhCanada-ParticipantFlynn is a very good player for the Triangle offensively.Im not to sold on his defesnive assets but I know from watching him in Syracuse hes got all the tools to be a good defensive player.Fisher was never a distributing PG but a great floor general, clutch shooter, great defender, and team leader. Flynn only has to do that. I think its necassary forr Minnesota to trade up for Turner possibly giving up…
Rubio
4th Overall
Love
for
2nd Overall
Meeks
Speightor something along those lines…

Leftovers16ParticipantTrading is always an option if the deal is right… But u gotta wait to see what he can do and then even another year to see he development when u draft someone that high… I’m not a wolves fan but I love to see teams come up from the bottom and the wolves are rebuilding like the Kings… Can’t wait to see Rubio play then u wolves will really be rolling

NYK2010ParticipantFlynn for Granger that makes no sense for the Pacers.
Granger is worth a lot more.0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/09/2010 - 12:50am #329279
Lodzio20ParticipantFlynn is very good distributor but in Minny he doesn’t have teammates who can score or finish like in Syracuse in NCAA!!!He averages almost 7 apg in NCAA!!I watch 30+ games of him and he is very good passer but he needs better teammates.
