Thunder09ParticipantI think he should go back for atleast one maybe 2 more years in Memphis. Hes not Derrick Rose by any means. Hes to much of a project right now. what are your opinions on him?

AllenParticipantWhy does he have to be derrick Rose? Dont understand the point you was trying to make. Hes smart to come out in such a weak draft.

NYKnicksuperFanParticipantyes he has lots of skills he needs to learn, but hes gonna learn them from…Josh Pastner? The beloved coach who recruited him is gone, about half of his team is gone through transfers and the draft, theres controversy at memphis over recruitment of other players his name might come up, hes not gonna win a ring and he’ll make more money through coming out this year then next

Thunder09Participanti dont think Memphis is gonna be that bad next year. they are gonna be worse that this year yes.but not horrible. and the Derrick rose Comment, was cause they have been compareing them to him. And he is no where near Rose in skill or the IQ needed to be in the NBA

fliptonnParticipantI think Evans is a stud. He can shoot, handle, penetrate. I think he’s the most complete scorer in the draft. He’s 6’5 so he’ll be able to shoot over NBA PG’s, he’s almost 220 so he’s physically ready. Honestly I think hes one of the few players who should have been drafted out of high school.

TH38L4CKM4M84I can see tyreke evans being a dwayne wade type player. He wont be as good because hes not quite as athletic and nobody leaves it all on the floor like wade does. Hes a little taller than wade and has a 6’11” wingspan. but if he can develop his jumper and become a better point guard distributor hell be a stud but there were questions about wades jumper at marquette and coming out. I really hope he falls to #10 to the bucks but he has too much upside and skills to fall that far. so it seems like a pretty good decision to come out this year since hes definitley a top 10 pick.

nyythemooseParticipanthe’s a lock lottery pick. Despite any players past performance, competition, combine results, workouts, off the court issues, etc etc etc whenever you are guaranteed to be taken in the first round let alone lottery you would have to have extenuating circumstances NOT to enter the draft.

Csharp3410ParticipantTyreke is smart by leaving this year….i think he will contribute very well next year actaully. I see him going to the Kings at 4th or Wolves at 6th. He will be just fine.
