Nobody gives this guy a chance ( Nobody talks about him in sports media) but he can be a decent player in the league. From his freshman to his senior year Tyrese has made considerable improvement each year. He’s not long athlete or tall by any measure but he has heart, work ethic, skill and ability to play his best when it matters most. He’s listed as the 48th pick in the draft, behind A.J. Price, Curtis Jerrells, and Ty Lawson. Players I think he’s better than, he’s Mike James with handle. After the carolina game I hope people start appreciating Mr. Rice.

Scratch Mike James though, I think he’ll be better, I say a taller Travis Best.

I must agree this guy is a player. I just think some guys just know how to play and this guy fits in that catagory.Doesn’t have ideal height and length but in this day and age some guards can get away with it.This is the golden era of the combo guards so guys like him and Stef Curry can make the jump to the league and make an impact.I think those guys like A.JPrice& some of the other guys that are listed ahead of him get pub because of name recognition or the programs that they play for or because they were Mcdonald’s All-Americans.Tyrese can just flat out play and I see that carrying over to the league. He should be much higher on the draft board.

Ty Lawson will not survive in the nba. As he may have blazing end to end speed that mans jumper is shattered, at best! He is absolutely not an outside threat meaning that guards in the league will simply sag back on him like they do D.Rose. Difference is D.Rose has the speed, strength, and hop to get to the rack and out muscle players twice his size, while Lawson will get 75% of his shots either sent into the rafters or back in his face. Tyrece Rice has the handle, shot, and playmaking ability, and the mental of a smaller Chauncey Billips, you saw how he put his team on his back in the waning minutes of the UNC game. The boys a beast, lawson’s lack of athleticism & jumper will be a henderance. Although Rajon Rondo and D.Rose have no jumper they make up for it with exceptional athleticism. Tyrece will be a much better pro than Lawson. On another note Lawson looks a lil chubby too, you dont see any cuts. He looks like a lil bowling ball out there. Im ranking Rice and Pargo way ahead of Lawson. Honestly Im taking Sharron Collins over Lawson, he goes hard.

if yall are talkin lawson and rice then id take lawson. but it seems tyreese rice has been a huge part of bc bball since he enrolled. he played with really good talent early, craig smith and jared dudley, the best, but the last two years hes carried that squad. lawson plays on a college all-star team and runs it as well as anyone could ask. i think rice will be really successful at the next level, phoenix should think about grabbing him late in the first round this year if they decide to actually make a selection.

thats just random, but as a blazers fan id like to thank the suns organization for james jones, rudy fernandez and sergio rodriguez over the past few years…….

Rice always destroys Lawson in their head to head matchups, so I don’t see how anyone can think Lawson is better.

    I think Rice is better.

Teammates Malik Hairston and Maarty Luenen unexpectedly heard their names called but Taylor didn’t.

I think J. Lopez brings up a good point.

Maybe I should click on that non-virus link.
