Watching OKC vs Mavs playoff flashback and if you guys remember Tyson once got traded to OKC but failed physical so it got me to wonder what would have Tyson done for OKC ? Would his impact still have been the same or would he just have been another guy on the team?

My thoughts is I don’t think his impact would have been the same bcuz his track record shows he plays best with pass first point guards Cp3 Jkidd.

All I can say is, OKC wishes he was on their team when he was whupping Kendrick Perkins in the play-offs. Seems like Tyson has a decent memory. I believe he could have made Oklahoma City a much more interesting team last season and maybe had them go in a different direction with the Jeff Green trade. The way he pounded Perkins, I am sure Sam Presti must have at least been kicking himself a little.

“I think we can do good things this year,” Evans said. “We didn’t get a training camp last year, so I think this year we just have to learn to play together, once we get that part out of the way where we can play together, I think we can be a great team.”

There was some obvious disappointment in Toronto when the Raptors failed to acquire a star small forward this summer, but that vibe is not coming from Coach Casey.

“There’s really nothing else to say,” Bryant said with a smirk. “I said what I had to say.”

Bryant said plenty as he sat at his locker Wednesday before the Lakers’ exhibition against the Portland Trail Blazers in Ontario. Although he nursed a strained right shoulder that has since healed, Bryant remained in a jovial mood. He joked that he’s pestered new teammate Steve Nash for winning the 2005-06 MVP with Phoenix, which eliminated the Lakers in the first round of the playoffs.vbsfdsadf

Even with Calhoun gone, the expectations are not going to change with the Huskies’ fan base and athletic department. They are accustomed to competing at a championship level and consistently being one of the best teams in the nation.

It is going to be tough for Ross to crack Casey’s rotation early on and the rookie will probably have to prove his worth in practice and during those occasional blowout games when playing him will not affect the outcome. It is not a lack of talent that will be holding him back as nearly everyone acknowledges the kid’s potential, but Casey is in the business of winning games this season and Ross will have to earn his coach’s confidence in order to get meaningful minutes.
