Tyson Chandler will be a over-paid role player or household name?

Reading a lot of teams are willing to pay for his services coming off his championship run. Can his game help another team win or will he just be another over paid guy?

Depends where he goes

Definitely depends on where he goes. He played a major role on Dallas last season and would probably do the same on New York. But, he has had injury concerns, is fairly limited offensively and if the Knicks have to give up Chauncey Billups and Ronnie Turiaf, which is being reported, than that seems to make them a pretty limited squad. The rumor of Amare Stoudemire for Chris Paul seems incredibly far fetched, I just find it hard to believe that they would do that to Amare or that the Hornets would be interested in taking him (and his injury concerns) rather than just trying to rebuild young.

If Paul wants to play with Tyson and with Melo in the fold, if they get some solid role players they will be pretty interesting. He is worth the money if he can get them a ring, but I still feel that 14 million per year seems like way too much and it is absolutely risky and constricting. They would have amazing pieces for a D'Antoni style offense and even a nice defensive presence in Tyson, but they need some depth that I do not believe they would have at the post positions.

If you trade Amare for Paul, than Tyson Chandler is about it and you will need to find someone to play next to him. I think this is a pretty strange and risky move, but I am guessing the Knicks must have a plan or a vision. Since the Knicks have yet to make it work before, I am not incredibly sure it works now. The key would be either in creating a deep team or getting a third star. Getting a center next to Amare makes you better, but I do not think it makes you a contender with Billups leaving. If you trade Amare for Paul, than I think you have a major hole as far as someone working next to Chandler. Surprising, confusing, but, this is the way the Knicks seem to work.

I think

I think if all this goes down the knicks will bring in Steve Nash next year for shorts next year n go from there as Nash tries to make his last push for a ring. Bcuz with a point guard you take away the easy lob factor in Tysons game.

Those significant additions

Those significant additions have Evans feeling really optimistic about their chances to take a big step forward this season.

“I love our three-position

“I love our three-position right now,” Casey said. “Landry is doing a heck of a job. Kleiza is shooting the ball extremely well and he is healthy from last year. I like our guys because Landry is such a smart player and Kleiza gives us the three-point shooting that we need.”

If anyone would know about

If anyone would know about how being an a$$hole on the court can benefit your game, it’s Kobe Bryant. Kobe has the reputation of being one of the most competitive, driven and cold-blooded players in the league. That type of attitude has helped Kobe become of the best to ever play the game.

Dwight Howard seems to be soaking up all the game Kobe is dishing. If he can apply them to his game and not take offense to the criticism, the Lakers will be in good shape for years to come.

Boston Celtics guard Courtney Lee had a nice rebound game this past Sunday against Armani Milano, scoring 11 points. He played much better than his first game in Turkey and it was nice to see him feel more comfortable with his teammates. Lee struggled in the team’s exhibition opener, often looking uncomfortable on the perimeter.4343

Maybe two years, maybe three,

Maybe two years, maybe three, maybe five years from now. Or maybe even at the end of this season if the Lakers win their coveted 17th franchise world championship—though it's unlikely Bryant would miss out on a chance to break the Boston Celtics' NBA record for most titles.

However, you can calm down Lakers fans. It's very possibly the last thing on Kobe's mind right now as he gets prepared for a crack at his sixth championship.

"I don't know why (the media) is paying any more attention to it now as opposed to two years ago when I said it," Bryant said quizzically. "It's the same old, same old. I don't know what caused it to get their attention right now.vasfd32423

"He makes (my game) a lot

"He makes (my game) a lot easier. I can move without the ball and just trust that he'll make the right decision. It's as simple as that. I really don't have to work (as) hard to get opportunities. I find openings within the defense, and he makes the defense pay."

Center Dwight Howard verifies everything Bryant said.

"(Nash and Bryant) know how to play basketball," Howard said after practice."Being the guards, they understand how the offense has to run, and Steve has done an excellent job in finding the open guy. We're just going to play off that.i678665

“We are all patient because

“We are all patient because we all understand that it is a process and it is going to take some time,” Scott said. “We are trying to build something special and we are trying to build it for the long haul, not a quick fix and with the draft picks that we have and the young players that we have here and their work ethic. I think we are headed in the right direction.

Less than 10 months ago,

Less than 10 months ago, Steve Novak was waived by the San Antonio Spurs. On December 19, 2011, the Spurs actually became the second NBA team during that calendar year that decided they were better off without Novak’s services, as the Dallas Mavericks also waived the forward back in January of 2011.

When Novak became a free

When Novak became a free agent this past summer, the Knicks organization was determined to keep him in NYC. The Knicks were able to exceed the salary cap to re-sign Novak only after a surprising court ruling that led to a settlement between the NBA and the players’ union, which gave players claimed off waivers their “Early Bird rights.”/jkl.jl;j

In addition, Novak also

In addition, Novak also acknowledged that he’d have to continue to improve and expand his game if he wanted to be effective in the future.

“I think defenses are going to know my strengths and run me off the three-point line and do that kind of thing,” Novak explained. “This summer, I definitely put an emphasis on being able to put the ball on the floor. One or two dribbles, using my shot fake more; just understanding how defenses are going to play me.ngh54654
