i think unlv is going to have a great year. i really like some of the players they have brought in over the last year. anthony bennett has a real nice game for a guy who is 6-7 240. katin reinart will make an impact and will probably be there more than a year, more like three probably. kiem birch is a former top 15 recruit. they got mike moser back which helps with skill and leadership. and there coach is an underated coach. plus they play in a weak conference. this team could do good in the pac-12 if they were there. im really gonna enjoy watching them come the ncca tournament. im think a possible top 10 team at the start of the big dance. thoughts?

Since Savon Goodman committed to UNLV I became a fan.  At first mad he left Villanova for them I realized they’re style could be a great fit for his game and after learning the ropes behind Moser and Bennet as a freshman, Goodman could make a huge impact as a soph and really explode into the national spotlight.

Savon Goodman is a 6’7 SF who is strong, fast, and an exceptional leaper.  He’s more of a power dunker and will fit great in the Running Rebels attack.  Katin Reinhardt, Savon Goodman, Khem Birch, Anthony Bennet, and Roscoe Smith are going to be fun to watch.

i forgot about goodman. even more exciting. they are on there way back to the years of larry johnson. they should really move to the pac-12. it would help even more with recruits. they are by far the best in the mountain west. i have been a fan of unlv for years and they are finally back after last year. and this year will be even better. i can’t wait. also i love reinhardts passing skills for a 6-5 sg. this team is sick. amen to dave rice.

I think Anthony Bennet is being slept on kinda right now.  I think he’ll be one of the best freshman in the country and solidify a lotto pick this year.

bennett is not talked about enough. shabazz was the best in th class of frosh, but bennett is no chump. he is top 4 in the class in my opinion. you don’t find many players his size that can do what he does. he is a freak. reminds me a little of a young ron artest.

  UNLV is the worst coached, least disciplined ranked team I’ve seen so far this year.  There are so many selfish chuckers on this team.  Reinhardt and Bryce Jones are the main culprits.  They both have terrible shot selection and never pass the ball.  On top of that they look like they play fast for the sake of playing fast.

They’re talented for sure, but their erratic play and poor guard play will hurt them in the end.  Bennett looks really good, but he reminds me of Derrick Williams in a bad way sometimes.  He loves his jumper and doesn’t always look willing to do the dirty work.  I still like him as a prospect though.
