They're going to be really good this year, but wait until 2013-2014. I honestly think they have a great chance to win the national championship that year. They're going to have 8-9 players who were 4-star prospects or better coming out of high school. I don't know how many other schools can say that (maybe 5 at the most). Jelan Kendrick, Bryce Dejean-Jones, Roscoe Smith, Anthony Bennett, Khem Birch, Katin Reinhardt, Savon Goodman, and Christian Wood as a top 8 sounds pretty good to me. Call me a homer, but Dave Rice is getting the job done. Thoughts?
Nowitzki becomes the second All-Star power forward in the West to go down with an injury during the preseason. Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves is expected to miss six weeks with a broken hand, an injury he suffered while doing “knuckle pushups.”
As far as the organization’s stance on the matter, the Rockets decline to comment any further on the issue, but the front office maintains that they remain committed to working with White.
“We are committed to Royce’s long term success and we will continue to support him now and going forward,” Rockets GM Daryl Morey said earlier this month via press release.
