NotHamedHaddadiParticipantThe committee has set us up with some pretty nice upsets this year. I don’t wanna give to much away because of the tournament challenge we got going on but I will say this…John Jenkins is going to eat that Syracuse zone alive!!!
I have Vandy making the Final Four, I feel they have a lot of confidence right now and their players are peaking at the right time. What are your thoughts on that and any other major upsets happening?0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/11/2012 - 5:05pm #646163

kanyedabestParticipanti tell ya, ive like this vandy team for the last few yrs…. they have one of the most talented big 3 in the country with jenkins, taylor, ezeli..oh and btw all 3 of them are SENIORS plus throw in the ultimate glue guy in Goulbourne and this team has a shot

burningfloodParticipantDuke will lose to Notre Dame in the second round.
It hurts me so much to say/think this, but we’re not very good this year, and the committee did us no favors by putting us in a bracket from hell.

aamir543ParticipantUNC has a free pass to the elite 8, and if Kansas gets knocked off(I think St. Marys could give them a run for their money) than their in the final 4 easily.

ChrisCrossParticipantI’m feeling Davidson over Louisville, Davidson can shoot the 3 ball, they beat Kansas in Kansas City, Siva is very streaky for UofL and turnover prone. Also put Baylor on upset alert against South Dakota St, they killed Washington by 30 AT Washington, they got a guy averaging 20+ppg, could happen.I think Kansas St will pull an upset over Syracuse in the 2nd Rd. I could see Duke loosing to Xaiver 2nd Rd, but I think they’ll survive only to loose to UNLV. I got Vandy going to the elite 8, they’re strong and playing at their best right now.

R-Dot-13ParticipantThe beach to the sweet 16.
Long Beach that is.

UNCbasketballbumParticipantI have Montana over Wisconsin. I have Vandy in the final four. I think Long Beach State will be in the sweet sixteen also. VCU over Wichita State. I believe Syracuse is vastly overrated and will fall to K-State in the second round. Duke will lose to Xavier in the second round. Tu Holloway will carve up the porous Duke defense.

NbanflguyParticipantWhat do you guys think of Ohio over Michigan?
I was not impressed at all with Michigan in the Big 10 tournament. They were lucky to get past Minnesota in OT and they got destroyed by Ohio State. Definatly not playing their best basketball come tourney time.
Michigan lives and dies by the 3. When the 3’s are going in they are difficult to beat, but Ohio is one of the best in the nation at defending the 3. They only allow opponents to shoot 29% from 3. Michigan is also very good at taking care of the ball, but Ohio ranks among the nation’s top-10 schools in both steals and turnover margin.
On the offensive end, Ohio does not shoot very well, but they are a very good at rebounding their own misses.
Michigan struggles at offensive rebounding, but Ohio struggles at defensive rebounding.
Michigan had the harder schedule and is more battle tested, but Ohio state did play Louisville strong in a 5 point loss.
This should be a very fun matchup for the fans, but I do not like the matchup for Michigan and am leaning towards Ohio.

cryan03ParticipantI got:
Xavier making the Sweet 16
Memphis making the Elite 8
Long Beach State making the Sweet 16
Belmont making the Sweet 16
Vanderbilt making the Elite 8
West Virginia making the Sweet 16
I think there is going to be a lot of upsets this year.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantI have every 12 beating every 5.
Also have Xavier (10), Harvard (12), and Detroit (15) in the Savory Sixteen.

Tobe BryantParticipantI think Cincy is going to surprise some people, Yancy Gates is playing well and Cashmere Wright is a nice on the ball defender, just has to cut down on TOs and make good decisons. Dixon and Kirkland can also score it decent too.

llperezmy final 4 is pretty chalk with three 2 seeds and one 1 seed. But i see long beach state, montanna, saint louis, vanderbilt and saint marrys all making solid runs. I also like cal as a 12 seed and think they were really underseeded. I mean no way are they behind colorado who played in the very same conference.
