The8thDeadlySinParticipantYa know, James Harden was a good fit but can you imagine if they had taken Curry instead?? I love seeing Curry and Durant together.. They havent been today yet but yesterday, they had some good chemistry..
Also, can Iggy please get put on a good team in the NBA.. I mean damn.. This guy is very very good but he is Scottie Pippen instead of MJ… He cant be your go to guy.. Pair him with Kobe or Melo and watch him explode!

JoeWolf1Yeah, Curry and Durant are pretty fun to watch, I also like the Derrick Rose/ Steph Curry combo going on right now, that is one fast back court.
Iggy can do a little bit of everything and he’s pretty clutch too, that would be sick if he were playing with Melo or Kobe, I kinda figured the 76ers would trade him last year, I wouldn’t be shocked if he moved teams this year.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantI love that combo of Rose and Curry too.. Damn… The Warriors had better hold on tight to him when his time comes because there are going to be 29 teams calling his name..
I think that Iggy may be one of the most undervalued player in the league.. Not underrated, undervalued.. I mean, he could be special if the didnt have to carry a load with the 76ers. Put him with a guy that demands a double team from the wing and watch him prosper.. He may get traded early this year if the team sees that 3 ball hungry guys wont produce wins.. Of course I mean Turner, Holiday, and Iggy… I just hope that someone is willing to annie up for him..

joecheck88Participantrudy gay is so long and athletic. and so is iggy with that windmill. i agree he needs to be traded to a team with a true number 1 option because he is a scottie pippen type. and batum could be special too in a similar role.

JoeWolf1Who would have thought Kevin Durants only points with just a minute or two left in the half would come on dunks? lol
I like the Iggy with Melo idea, and Denver has enough talent, and post players ( which Philly needs) to make a decent offer.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m interested in watching Batum in this setting. He’s a better all-around player than people on this site give him credit for.

JoeWolf1Yeah, I he’s had a big dunk, showed good ball handling skills, and he’s been hitting shots from the outside.

IndianaBasketballParticipantBatum doesn’t get to do a lot on Portland since they have Roy/Miller and then Aldridge in the post. He’s used as a defender and spot up shooter. Occasionally he’ll put the ball on the floor and show some of the things he’s capable of.
I tuned in late to the game… Did Eric Gordon and Danny Granger see time in the first half?

stealsgaloreParticipantIndianaBasketball for sure Diaw looks like he put on some weight.
Also I didn’t think Rondo would be good for this team but he’s been proving me very wrong in this game. I know this is just an exhibition but if he can penetrate like that against the better teams he’ll be a stud.
Tyson Chandler’s looked pretty good, mostly defensively but he can finish lobs with the best of the best.
I missed some of the game but has Kevin Love played at all? If so how did he look because I think he’ll have to play a big role as backup C if the US wants to win.

IndianaBasketballParticipantKevin Love just got in… He has a calf issue.
I look at Rondo similar to the way I looked at Jason Kidd during the olympics. Rondo could be the starter I think.

stealsgaloreParticipantMaybe with Billups, they compliment each other well. Also Rondo was playing pretty well with Chandler, they look like they have some chemistry.
Also I thin Westbrook could be the last guard cut. Gordon’s been lighting it up and Westbrook brings the same things to the table as Rose and Rondo. I would keep Gordon and Curry IMO

The8thDeadlySinParticipantI think the team should start:
Billups
Iggy
Gay
Durant
ChandlerRondo is a stud for sure but I think that we need to start games with as much fire power as possible.. Our lack of size is going to make it hard for us to comeback if we get down.. Starting guys that can score from almost anywhere, excluding Chandler, will almost ensure that we start the game with the lead.
Rondo should be first off the bench, followed by Odom, Curry, Rose, then Granger in that order.

joecheck88Participantin my gut, i think russell westbrook will get cut. i think eric gordan will get the nod. why do they need westbrook. they have rondo and rose and curry can play some point. gordan is a tough defender, good finisher and a great shooter. i think gordan and curry will be in turkey and westbrook will get cut.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI agree. I think Westbrook is going to get cut.
I’ve been saying all along that Gordon would make it. His style of play fits well in FIBA. A lot of people sleep on Gordon because he doesn’t have a lot of hype or a lot of fan fare… He just plays though. IF he makes it, he’ll have made it over Westbrook and OJ Mayo.

LazarusMunozParticipantGordon is really turning into a very good defender…i think he’s gonna do some amazing things this year on both sides of the ball for the Clips! This whole USA basketball experience is gonna benifit him more than any other player on the team…Its gonna help him gain more confidence and bring that over into the regular season

stanford hoopsi donty like that starting line up @8th because gay would be better coming off the bench. that line up looks ike you want all the guys who scored the most int he game at once. i like billups at the sg and rondo at the point since rondo can get in paint and will be looking to get others point ala jkidd. then billups doesnt have to worry about setting people up and can focus on hitting that open three int he zone

RamdonParticipantOur deficiency of size is going to make it hard for all of us to comeback if many of us get straight down.. Starting guys which could score coming from almost wherever excluding chandler will almost be sure that we start the sport with your lead.
