Is he transfering because i think if he goes to a smaller school he make be able to get some minutes. Wesley Johnson became a lottery pick after his transfer. I am sure before he came to Syracuse most people did not know who he was. He seems to be alright from his highlights I mean I can’t see why he couldnt get bk up minutes.

Wesley Johnson was a borderline prospect and was an Honorable Mention All-Big 12 performer if I’m not mistaken though. Romeo was nailed to the bench.

This is a mix of Romeo’s freshman year at USC.

Honestly he may have gotten hurt by his name recognition. If he had went to a smaller school and got playing time, I believe he could have put up decent number maybe like a Randle or something

Everybody knows the only reason he got into USC was because of DeRozan. They made it clear to Floyd that they were a package deal. With DeRozan and Floyd gone… There was really no use for him anymore.

Lil Romeo’s dad is like 6′ 4″… That’s too bad he didn’t get his dad’s height.

Just about all of those highlights were in practice lol. And yea ButlerBulldogs, he was definitely a package to get Derozan.

Just shows you that celebrity status can get you anything in this world. No way he deserved a basketball scholarship, especially at the D1 level. I know kids who can hardly hold their own in intramural college level games that avg 8.6 ppg in HS. He took away someone elses opportunity. And I mean, how much can he really need a scholarship with the money he and pop brought in back in the day. At the most he should have just been allowed to walk on.

I didn’t know he played in Beverly Hills lol. That’s kind of funny… I used to be into Master P and No Limit LOL. All they used to rap about was drugs and being thugs. Funny to know they live in Beverly Hills now.
