BenchWarmerParticipantFirst off I know that there are a bunch of ridiculous 3-4 team trade ideas on here but here is a trade that I believe would improve both teams.
There has been talk of the Clippers testing Bledsoes value on the market and the Utah Jazz wanting him. There was some speculation about Clippers having interest in Millsap (via twitter and hoopshype) but a Blake-Millsap combo doesn’t make sense to me. So here’s a trade idea that I think makes sense if the Jazz are serious about Bledsoe.Jazz trade: Alec Burks, Raja Bell and Derrick Favors
Clippers trade: Erica Bledsoe and Deandre Jordan
Why for Jazz: If they are serious about Bledsoe they might have to take on Jordans contract. If they view him as a franchise pg then it might be the price to pay. It doesn’t help the logjam of post players the Jazz have but Millsap, Jefferson and Mo Williams are on expiring contracts so they do have money. Let Mo Williams walk and decide between Millsap and Jefferson.
Lineup (next year atleast):
Jordan
Jefferson/Millsap
Williams
Hayward
BledsoeWhy for Clippers: essentially replacing Jordan for Favors. Both players get buckets off lobs and putbacks. Favors is a considerably better freethrow shooter (around 70%) which is excellent because lots of the time missed freethrows are game deciders. They also get a promising player in Burks. They do give up a very crucial bench piece in Bledsoe tho
Lineup:
Favors
Griffin
Butler
Bell/Green w/ jamal and burks (maybe get rid of green?)
PaulIt all depends on if the Clippers are serious about trading Bledsoe and if the Jazz are serious about getting him. I really think the Clips should run with what they have because they are deep and dangerous. But if they decide to I think this would make sense, thoughts?

bloodshyParticipantFirst, as a Utah fan I hate the trade.
Second, the trade deadline ended a few minutes ago, so trades are pretty much over until the summer.

BenchWarmerParticipantYeah Utah would be giving up to much. But Derrick Favors needs some playing time, I think he would be a game changer given a chance.

bloodshyParticipantVery boring trade deadline. The biggest name to move was JJ Reddick to the Bucks.

BenchWarmerParticipantPretty disappointing considering names getting thrown around like Rondo (idk if it was serous) KG, Tyreke Evans, Millsap, Josh Smith (isn’t he always)

sheltwon3ParticipantYou will probably see more moves during the draft. That is starting to be the trend now.
