omphalosParticipantAnybody watching this game? Just tuned in and you’d think it was game 7 of the Finals the amount of hustle both teams are showing. Wallace is diving on the floor, the Jazz are responding in kind.
Haven’t got numbers for players, but catch the last few minutes if you can, this is entertaining basketball.

omphalosParticipantPortland pressure off the ball is ridiculous, they forced so many turnovers. Kanter looks smaller than Favors, I think Derrick ends up playing the C, he’s got that sort of length.
Matthews hit a couple of clutch threes to make it one point, POR with the ball and 28 seconds.

omar dayzeParticipantI just watched this game from England because I had Portland +2.5 as the last pick on an otherwise winning bet slip. Its now 5am on a weekday and Im wide awake because I watched a preseason game of two teams I dont care about, and not a £ to show for it. Officially a degenerate.

butidonthavemoneyGotta love Jeremy Evans. Tough night for Burks (0-8 shooting) and Hayward (four turnovers, six fouls) though. Hope to see some more development from the duo this season.
Quality game, despite Utah practically begging Portland to beat them in the last minute or so.

Scottoant93ParticipantSomeone Put Jeremy Evans in the Dunk Contest this year that was one sick poster!!!!

butidonthavemoneyTechnically it was a charge, so I don’t know if it qualifies as a poster. I said last year that in terms of leaping ability and quickness in getting off the ground, Evans is in the same kind of category as LeBron James, Blake Griffin and Dwight Howard (that category being the elite one). Obviously all three are way stronger, but this kid can JUMP.
