overrated- I would say brook lopez because he can’t get rebounds(and he’s on a bad team so I don’t think its possible he can be overrated), but Johnson has to be the most overrated and overpaid player in the NBA

best in 5- it’s close between rose and durant, but i’ll have to say Durant because he has already mastered scoring, so once he rounds out his game(which he already has started) he will be the best player in the league.

2. Underrated – Luol Deng – We’re not talking about the best underrated player but the Most underrated player. Everybody and anybody can say Lamarcus Aldridge is an All-Star, he gets the credit he deserves but that position was just full with Griffin,Love,Gasol etc.. Luol Deng is Underrated, this guy has been putting up 17,18 points, gets 6 rebounds while shooting at a high percentage and being the 2nd or 3rd option in a contending chicago team. Think about that.

3. Most Overrated – Jameer Nelson, The only reason he was ever an all-star was because he was a starting point guard in a championship contending orlando team with Dwight Howard in it. Dwight makes him look better and these past two seasons he has been an average starting point guard at best.

4. Best In 5 Years – Kevin Durant – Will be scary good, i see shades of the Iceman George Gervin in durant. Silky smooth scorer. If he learns to have a more all-around game he will be a longer, taller version of Tracy McGrady in his Prime. Add in being more assertive and maturing as a leader he will be scary good. With him as Batman and Westbrook as Robin the thunder, with the right pieces could be the best team in the league for years to come.

5. Best Young Player – Blake Griffin – Will be the best Power Forward in the league in the Near Future. As he develops a better post game and improves his defense he could be the next coming of Karl Malone, with even better rebounding. Get him a good point guard he will dominate. He is the most explosive player in the league and is already well known and considered a superstar by many. If the clippers build the right pieces through him, they could finally get out of the Lakers’ shadow.

6. Best Rookie – Kyrie Irving – With a Weak draft class, i see Kyrie Irving as a borderline all-star at best.

7. Most Athletic – Blake Griffin – Most explosive player in the league. Hustles at every play, has heart and is very fast. Great Hands and Instincts.

8. Best Leader – Kobe Bryant – Even NBA Players say it, Kobe is a cold hearted killer. A silent assassin. His will to win is equal to none.(Unless you include Michael Jordan). He is a closer. Clutch player. Sure sometimes he will take bad shots but thats because he has an Alpha Dog attitude. A swagger. He knows that Its on HIM whether the Lakers win or lose. Its on him to take the lakers to another lever. He is a Great Leader that expects alot from his teammates.

Michael Jordan — best all-around offensive weapon in league history.  Most clutch player who played GREAT defense too.  If you are having a draft of all-time NBA players, Jordan is the first pick.  Magic’s unique blend of passing, ball handling, size, vision, and leadership would make you think about taking him with the 2nd pick.  Wilt is great, but Russell, Kareem, Shaq, and Hakeem can give Wilt a run for his money, but Jordan is in a league of his own with Magic being the 2nd best non-center ever and the best point guard in NBA history.

1. Best Player Now….. Dirk in a VERY CLOSE race. Coming off a sublime playoffs. Unstoppable on offense, clutch, and also gives you rebounds and blocked shots.

2. Underrated………. Marcin Gortat– other than Dwight Howard, Gortat’s best is as good as any center.

3. Most Overrated…… Carlos Boozer — a regular season stat stuffer who is also vastly overpaid

4. Best In 5 Years……… Durant (his size and length gives him a slight edge over Rose).  in 5 years could end up being a 6’9 Jordan at his peak which is incredibly scary for the rest of the league. Blake Griffin and Dwight Howard will be just behind those two with LeBron James being the league’s best elder statesman by then.

5. Best Young Player.  … Blake Griffin with Tyreke Evans giving him a run for his money if he returns to form.

6. Best Rookie………………Derrick Williams.  I think a lot of rookies will do very well in spurts, and it will come down to consistency.

7. Most Athletic……. …… Blake Griffin — best combination of size, strength, explosiveness, and athleticism.

8. Best Leader……….Jason Kidd — super high BBIQ, sees the floor, hits clutch shots, makes others better

6. Best Rookie-Kyrie Irving. He was my favorite prospect in the draft and I think he will justify being the first pick.

7. Most Athletic-LeBron James. Still has to "lose athleticism" at much more of a rate before someone else takes the title.

8. Best Leader-Kobe Bryant. No one is more focused and prepared to play than Kobe. Say whatever you want about him as a person, but his leadership has been top notch for a long time. People indeed step up their play with Kobe leading the charge.
