Western Conference Finals Backcourt Matchups - Who will have more of an impact?

If Jason Richardson continues to shoot as effectively as he has been in these playoffs, the Lakers will have to extend thier defense and account for him. Ultimately this will force Amare and Nash into single coverage and lanes for thier high pick and roll action which they will most likely not show the Lakers until an opportunistic point in the game.

Kobe will be his usual spectacular self, however two guys in this series, I believe, will be the difference and they both are each teams' best three - point shooters in the 2010 playoffs.

Jason Richardson for the Suns and Derek Fisher for the Lakers.

I understand that obviously there are a host of keys that will ultimately determine the outcome, however the ability for these two players to score from deep has an even more significant effect on the spacing necessary for the primary focus points of their offenses to thrive.

Those two focus points being Stoudemire and Gasol/Bynum in the paint.

We break down the backcourt matchups in the Western Conference Finals further in today's version of the NBA Playoffs Daily report.
