What Happens to Kyrie Irving in the Fourth Quarter?
he got that clutch gene. he's def a go to scorer, which not everyone is, even some great ones
If he played like he does in the 4th during the rest of the game he'd probably be dead tired by the 4th quarter. He definitely flips a switch in end game situations and relishes clutch moments. I'm not saying he coasts during the first 3 quarters, but he looks to get others involved, run the offense and gets his within the flow of the offense. Then when defenses tighten up at the end he takes advantage of it and starts attacking more.
He's just straight clutch, but unfortunately for him last night so was Jennings.
Young man with wise shoulders, he takes the responsibility and he usually comes through. Kyrie Irving is going to be really scary in the future hopefully he doesn't get seriously hurt and has a long and prosperous career.
He´ KD with the body of a guard - great handle, shot, clutchness etc. ...
* he is KD ......................
sorry

What the hell happens to Kyrie Irving in the fourth quarter???
I swear he gets possessed when the fourth quarter rolls around and he goes completely insane. 13 straight points goes 5-8 with 7 straight points in the final 1:20 and hits the tying bucket with .7 seconds left on the clock. Jennings hit an incredible shot to win the game but regardless Irving's performance shouldn't be without mention because I think we are starting to see a pattern.
Last year he repeatedly had games like this where he'd score 12-18 straight points for the Cavs in the fourth quarter to either end in a heroic and tragic loss or a heroic game winner.
But why doesn't he do this in the first three quarters? It's strange to see a player who's best efficiency numbers are in the fourth compared to the first three quarters.
There was a quote where he said "Pressure makes Diamonds, that's something my father said to me that always made me love the 4th quarter".
But just think about how good this kid could be if he brought that extra gear in all four quarters?
