    What if..

John Wall went to hometown NC state? Would he have been the first pick?

Butler won the NCAA Championship? Would Hayward be a higher draft pick?

The OJ Mayo and Kevin Love trade didn’t happen and Love was in Memphis and Mayo was in Minnesota? Which player would be better this year?

Kendrick Perkins didn’t get injured? Would the Celtics have won Game 7?

Cleveland Won the NBA championship in 2010? Would LeBron had stayed?

Well, he should have went to Duke. Then he won a title and been the 1st pick

Butler won the NCAA Championship? Would Hayward be a higher draft pick?
Yes. I think he would have went top 5

The OJ Mayo and Kevin Love trade didn’t happen and Love was in Memphis and Mayo was in Minnesota? Which player would be better this year?
Mayo would still be the better player, and Minnesota would be better

Kendrick Perkins didn’t get injured? Would the Celtics have won Game 7?
Yes, Celtics would be champs right now

Cleveland Won the NBA championship in 2010? Would LeBron had stayed?
    Yes.

I think so, he’d probably show alot more without Patterson, Cousins, etc

Butler won the NCAA Championship? Would Hayward be a higher draft pick?
No, i think getting there in general already boosted his stock

The OJ Mayo and Kevin Love trade didn’t happen and Love was in Memphis and Mayo was in Minnesota? Which player would be better this year?
They’d both be better off, tbh

Kendrick Perkins didn’t get injured? Would the Celtics have won Game 7?
    Nahh, Kobe was gonna berserk

Cleveland Won the NBA championship in 2010? Would LeBron had stayed?
He gave up in the playoffs, had he not did that, then his mind would of been decided to stay in Cleveland, so Yes.

What if Portland kept the third pick and took Chris Paul

And drafted Kevin Durant, ahead of Greg Oden?

John Wall went to hometown NC state? Would he have been the first pick?
Yes, he would have been the #1 pick at almost every school he went to. Just on his high school hype alone he would have been a top 5 pick wherever he went.

Butler won the NCAA Championship? Would Hayward be a higher draft pick?
I don’t think so. It didn’t help anybody from Duke’s stock so I don’t think it would help him that much.

The OJ Mayo and Kevin Love trade didn’t happen and Love was in Memphis and Mayo was in Minnesota? Which player would be better this year?
It’s tough to say who would have a better year because no one knows who would be on there team. But I will say Mayo because I think he is a little more talented.

Kendrick Perkins didn’t get injured? Would the Celtics have won Game 7?
No, I think Kobe would have stepped up more if Perkins was healthy.

Cleveland Won the NBA championship in 2010? Would LeBron had stayed?
Yes, I think he would. Then he wouldn’t have the excuse that he couldn’t win a championship in Cleveland.

How does that make any sense?

Yeah, I feel that wall is a special talent, would have dominated at times no matter where he went

Top 5 for sure,I can’t even imagine the Ball washing he would have recieved, thats not taking into consideration if he hit the half court shot

Kevin Love would have been fighting for mins like he was this past season in Minnesota,no knock on him,but Z-ro,and Gasol play there. I believe that if Mayo was in Minnesota they would set the record for most gaurds on one active roster in any season in NBA history

I still feel L.A. wins, that game was won by play makers, Ron Artest still shuts down Pierce,Ray Allen’s legs were too tired to make jumpshots, and Rondo still couldn’t make or take the 15ft jumpshot, maybe a different result, but still see L.A. winning

You would think he would atleast come back to defend, but i can’t help but to take all his quotes after he left into consideration on this question. If they really have been planing this for 2+ years, and this was as he viewed a once in a life time oppurtunity to play with his friends,I can’t say he would stay….

#1: I think scouts would recognize that Wall is a special talent with immense potential wherever he played.

#2: It is widely speculated that Hayward was drafted too high as it was and probably would have gone a couple of spots lower if he wasn’t drafted by Utah (the possible exception being Indiana). However if he had hit that deep three at the buzzer, maybe he would have gotten more hype for his clutch play and could have gone higher than at least Aminu.

#3: Who knows – maybe Kahn would have drafted eight power forwards instead. And we wouldn’t have all this silly talk about Mayo playing point.

#4: The refs would still be horribly biased toward the Lakers (I SAID IT!). 37 free throws to 17? Seriously? But, I think with Perk there, the Celtics could have pulled it out. They did pretty well playing 8 on 5 without their starting center, so why not?

#5: I think Lebron would not have had one of his major justifications for leaving and would have stayed because of the damage that leaving would do to his popularity and plus, he would probably be content with being in his home state as a champion. His popularity would grow even more and I think another big star would be willing to take less money to join him in Cleveland. In short, yes he would stay.

I don’t really feel like answering cuz there are so many what ifs that we could ask, like what if MJ gave up basketball after he got cut in high school? It would change everything, but we’ll never know

It makes as much sense and what if Perkins was healthy. Dominoes like these cause a chain reaction that effects everything because Boston was helped early by Wallace playing real good offensively which is something Perkins does not do. Boston could have not jump to a big lead and maybe a more steady Kobe makes most of his shots since he is not trying to shoot them back into that game.
