What kind of numbers will Andrew Wiggens post if he gets drafted right now

I know that the team you get drafted to can seriously affect what stats you end up posting, but i invite you to predict both his rookie year numbers and what you see him capable of posting provided he is with the right teammates. Which current NBA player would you like to be paired with him?

I'm not a Raptors fan but

I'm not a Raptors fan but would love to see him play for Toronto. He is from Canada and I think it would be good for the team if he played there. They have a very good fan base and it would give them reason to be excited.

Now, where would I like to see him play as a fan of basketball. I want to say Cleveland with Kyrie but they drafted Waiters this year and that is a lot of shots for your 1,2 & 3 positions. Detroit is another but they don't have a true PG or even close to a true PG and I think that could stunt Wiggins a bit. Phoenix could be a nice place for him. Maybe Sacramento if they really go to Seattle. Seattle would be deserving of such a talent after they were robbed of Durant & Westbrook. I'm only naming bad teams because he isn't going to be drafted by a good team.

I think if he was allowed to declare from HS and played for a bad team next season he could put up numbers like 14ppg, 5rpg, 4apg with low shooting percentages. He isn't Lebron out of HS. He is very good but not NBA ready yet. He would provide some flashes and highlights but his team would not make the playoffs.

I really like him in

I really like him in cleveland too as Tristan and Varejao don;t really demand too many shots in an offence, working off put backs and the odd iso. For this though, I would love to see them get either a bigger versatile 3 so andrew could play as a bigger 2 his first couple years ala Durant. Ideally I see Waiter's being this teams J crawford eventually. If they don;t get the 3, get a defensive/shooter to play the 2 and pray to jebus for some enders game on draft day.

But yeah I'm Canadian and the thought of seeing him 3x a week on tv, is salivating.

If the Raps win the lottery in 2014 I'm screaming fix!

Haha, but seriously he would mean alot to the Raps franchise, a true franchise player that would probably actually have a desire to thrive and succeed in Canada

His current stats at

His current stats at huntington prep are: 22.2 ppg, on 50%FG, 63%FT, 11.6rpg, 2.1apg and 2spg, 2bpg.

If you ask me, he will end up either with charlotte, Washington, Phoenix, Cleveland or Toronto. Out of these teams, I see washington, and Cleveland rising next year because their current standing relative to other teams puts them in a good position to get a top pick. They also have very good young talent, and more promise than Phoenix and Toronto do. I think that fate is that Wiggins will get drafted to Toronto, in which case I would love to see him play alongside a Demar Derozan. If he stays I think Caron Butler would also find him.

If you ask me, if he gets drafted right now, Wiggins will average something like 19, 6 and 4. But a year in college got me thinking better than that. I really believe he can join the illusive 20,5,5 rookie year club.

Something like 17 5 and 3,

Something like 17 5 and 3, somewhere along those lines. If you wanna argue that he'd average more Id agree, but you are totallyright about the situation he gets drafted into. For comparison some people say Lebron but I see more Mcgrady, he's smooth like T-Mac as apposed to Lebron who is a power player if you know what I mean? What are you stats projections?

12ppg 4rpg 1apg, 40% FG, 20%

12ppg 4rpg 1apg, 40% FG, 20% 3PT

First year will be inefficient, however, I think that his improvement in years 2-4 will be dramatic.

Are you talking entering the

Are you talking entering the League now or by his rookie season? I agree he might be inefficent in his first year (something more like 30% from 3) i feel he will be able to get more than 12 points a game after a season developing h is game in college, MKG is averaging 10 ppg this year.

Ofcourse I'm not trying to

Ofcourse I'm not trying to hype him out of proportions. I just think that for someone of his talent, ability and work ethic will not post some mediocre stats for a number 1 pick like 14, 4, and 2. Although I know it's very bad to already crown him a great player, I think that he is superstar material. He can have a better year than Tyreke Evans's rookie year.

I understand what you are

I understand what you are saying but the list of guys to be real successful straight from HS is real thin. Lebron and Amare I believe are the only ones to win a rookie of the year out of HS and most other guys contribute very little. You look at Amare and Lebron out of HS, they had the body of a man. Wiggins is real thin and wouldn't be able to get to his spots like those guys could. With numbers like 15, 5, and 3 which is around where I think he would be or even the numbers you put, are the ultimate sign of respect for how good we think Wiggins is. He would be in the running for ROY. I think everyone is complimenting him with the numbers we have given.

Playing for your hometown

Playing for your hometown team brings a lot of problems for a 19 year old with new found money, I dont know how he'd handle it. From a strictly basketball side, I'd like to see him on Cleveland with Kyrie, Zeller, Thompson, (I confess i do not like Waiters at all) - would be a good young core that could grow together.

Well it worked out for Lebron

Well it worked out for Lebron even though he is usually the exception to every rule. Haha. I just think it would be real cool for Canada and for young Canadian basketball players.

I agree about Cleveland. I would love to see him with Kyrie but with Waiters in the picture, it muddies the water a bit for me.

Trust, Canadian basketball is

Trust, Canadian basketball is heading in the right direction. 10 years ago, I could not have predicted the explosion of Canadians in the league and heading to the league. It use to big news for a Canadian basketball player to head to a mid to low D1 school, now that kids are heading over to the U.S. in high school, you can see the improvements.

I'd say he could go for about

I'd say he could go for about 15ppg, 5rpg, 2apg if he went to the NBA next year. In what will be his likely rookie year I'd add a few points and maybe a rebound and an assist. As a Phoenix fan, I'd love to see him there or if not then someone like Charlotte needs a franchise guy but could they play him and MKG together I wonder?

As a fan, I would like to see

As a fan, I would like to see him go to either the Raptors (DeRozan..Ross..Wiggins..so many dunks) or the Cavs with Kyrie. I would be extremely happy if he got paired up with John Wall though. Fast breaks would be nearly unstoppable with those 2 and Beal in the corner

i agree with everyone who

i agree with everyone who said everywher from 10 to 20 ppg but you guys underrates his defense, that's why he had been compared to Pippen before he started to score like crazy..

he might be skinny but is a powerful player, he absolutely locked other stud HS player J.Randle this summer TWICE..and he might already be 6'8 7feet winspan..
i believe he would really grab like 6 maybe even 6,5 rebounds per game, that aspect of the game really translates well, just watch Kidd-Gilchrist..

i believe he would get 15.5ppg 5rpg 3apg ~1.6spg ~1.2bpg

next year in college i predict around 21/8/2.5 and after that 19/7/4 in the NBA

If he came in right now to

If he came in right now to the team with the worst record (Washington), he could average 14 ppg 4-5 rpg and shoot a solid 3 pt%.

Id love to see him land in Washington to pair wit Wall theyd b an exciting duo together.

Based on his physical abilities which are otherworldly I think he could average 15 ppg and 7 rpg right now in the league.

Free Throw Percentage

Current stats are 63% on free throws? I may be nit picking but no way should he be under 75%.
