Im a big raps fan, I think

Im a big raps fan, I think they HAVE to trade Bosh it seems he wont re-up next season so get as much as you can 4 him now. Losing Bosh is going to be devastating but its better than gettin nothing for him. If I was the raps I would try and make a play Ben Gordon especially now that marion is off the books. getting Ben Gordon wouls give us a scoring guard for the first time since V.C. I don't think they should draft Henderson or Clark so they gotta hope Derozan falls to them. But I really think they will draft Tyreke.

Is it all these Canandians?

Damn the Raps are the team everyone is talking about or posting about. I think they'll keep him and he'll walk in 2010. Seems smarter to rade him and get value but GM's always seem to be reluctant.

CANADA!

Don't be hating on Canada...
Its a GREAT place...

But on to b-ball. Bosh is a huge target in the NBA market right now, hence the focus on the Raptors. My thought as a HUGE raps fan, the best option for the team, sadly but true, is to try and trade Bosh along with a bench player to a team for 2 decent scorers, and their 1st round draft pick.

So the raps can move forward, and rebuild their team without the hassles of wondering if Bosh will remain with the team. The best options would be for them to draft Demar Derozan / Earl Clark / Gereld Henderson, and with the possible other 1st round pick, draft BJ Mullens, to fill the center role.
Hence giving the Raps a team as such :
PG - Calderon
SG - Player traded for Bosh
SF - Derozan/Clark/Henderson
PF - Bargnani (where i feel he fits best, with his speed and size)
C - Mullens (who is a 7'1", VERY athletic and strong center)

Being fan of the organization, and following them since they first came to be in 95', i feel that this would be best option regarding this year and the stress of Chris Bosh remaining on the team

bosh to g state

if bosh is going anywhere the most frequently talked about team trying to get the big man out of TO is the golden state warriors. Im a massive raps fan and strongly believe that they should not trade bosh unless were losing plenty by the trade deadline. im thinking if were going to trade bosh before hand and at the draft we should most definitely trade with golden state. inorder for the raps to get a fair and legitmate deal with g state i feel the deal should include...

To Golden State:
Chris Bosh
Jason Kapono

To Toronto:
2009 first round pick
Andris Biendrins
Anthony Randolph
Corey Magette

This is pretty much a win win for either team. on one hand the warriors get a premier player and all star in bosh and on the other they get a great open shooter. kapono plays very well when hes given open looks on the fast break. which is why he never really thrived in TO. Also the warriors get to dump magette's contract in which they dont feel hes a great match for nellie. Now, bargnani can move to his natural position at the 4, biendrins plays at the five. the raptors will have back to back picks in the draft which could result in moving up or having two great prospects. and randolph one of my favourite rookies this year can develop into an excellent role player in toronto which could eventually lead to him playing the 3 position, once he learns a jump shot a little bit better. with the two picks i see the raps taking derozen, and tyreke evans. which will then create a lot of speed in which colangelo and triano have been preaching.

The starting lineup:
PG Jose Calderon
SG Demar Derozen
SF Corey Maggette
PF Andrea Bargnani
C Andris Biendrins

Backups Second Unit:
PG: Roko Ukic
SG: Tyreke Evans
SF: Anthony Randolph
PF: Pops Mensah Bonsu
C: Kris Humphries

The raps will run any team out of the building if this is the result its pretty scary.

Re: G State trade

Borlack, you certainly bring up an interesting trade scenario, but the likelihood of G State pulling the trigger on it seems not too likely. I say this because as we all know, Bosh's contract is expiring. In my honest opinion, I think the Warriors, even with Bosh will stay in rebuilding mode for another 1 to 2 years. I really don't think Bosh would want to re-sign with G-State any more than he would want to in Toronto. G-State knows that. They won't give away so many great young players with high potential for essentially a rental player for a year with a low chance of re-signing. The only teams which will try to get Bosh are current play-off teams as Bosh will have a good chance of re-signing with them. What do you guys think?

Re: G State Trade

Salaries don't match either. a trade of biedrins and maggs for bosh would work though. but that's too much talent for renting a player for 1 year. how bout a crawford for bosh? crawford + mags for bosh and kris humphries? they should sign gortat with the full midlevel (magic won't match), he's been great for the magic off the bench. a line up of gortat, bargs, mags, crawford and calderon could do some damage in the east. they should keep parker and graham. sign some decent fas. workout some d-leaguers. pops was great, they should keep him in toronto. maybe rasho can go back to toronto via free agency? he can start over gortat.

No way no how Warriors are trading Anthony Randolph ...... he is going to be a star and they have him on the cheap at least one more season.

They would keep Randolph

The GSW should see the masssssssive potential in Anthony Randolph and wont trade him for cheap. As far as this lineup:
PG Jose Calderon
SG Demar Derozen
SF Corey Maggette
PF Andrea Bargnani
C Andris Biendrins

Thats nothing that special wont be contenders for years to come they need someone to score!

how bout this?

gsw is having buyer's remorse on both crawford and maggette. if toronto can manage to get those two for bosh (+ throw in to make salaries match), i think that would be a great deal for both sides. also, if they can get a serviceable center via free agency, (rasho, gortat) then they'd be able to start bargs at power forward. This would be the starting lineup:

PG Jose Calderon
SG Jamal Cawford
SF Corey Maggette
PF Andrea Bargnani
C Rasho Nesterovic / Marcin Gortat

GSW

I live in the bay area, and these people who say we're going to trade Andris AND Randolph are high off their asses. Biedrins/Ellis/Randolph is our future. If anything, i think we'll try maybe Marco Bellineli and Brandan Wright and a 1st Round Pick, and maybe Jamal Crawford and we get Kapono or somebody. Bellineli isn't in our plans anymore since we signed Anthony Morrow, and we never should of traded for Wright in the first place.

Warriors trade?

If Golden State trades Anthony Randolph they will lose half their fan base. He is their most exciting rookie in god knows how long. Of course, their ownership sucks, so who knows? They might piss away the franchise. Maggette and Jamal Crawford are two pretty damn good players, and because the Warriors are deep at their positions, probably available. No way Bosh stays with Golden State for more than a year, so you'd think GS wouldn't offer more than those two.
