Rubio2GasolParticipantAlbatross contract, coming off of one of the worst MVP follow-up seasons in nba history, “recovering” from a possible career ending injury. What can he get the Bulls in return right now?

NCarmean18ParticipantThe Bulls would never trade Derrick Rose. He’s from Chicago, they drafted him with the #1 pick in the draft, he is the greatest player that they have had on their roster since Michael Jordan, and he was the youngest NBA MVP at the age of 22. There is no way in hell that Chicago would trade him.
Albatross contract? He has rightfully earned that contract by the way he has played. Anytime you can win an MVP award over guys like LeBron James and Dwight Howard, you’ve probably player some good basketball and are very deserving of a big contract.
One of the worst follow-up seasons? Get your facts straight, dude. He was injured THE ENTIRE season! He was playing hurt all of the time, so obviously his jump shot was going to lose a little swagger, and he wouldn’t be as quick getting to the hoop. But you know what? He still laced up and performed every single night, and still put up beyond average numbers for any solid basketball player in the NBA.
This torn ACL is so overrated. I know it will take some acceleration away from him, but he is a monster. Derrick Rose is only going to get stronger and better. This injury was just a minor speed bump for both Rose and the Chicago Bulls. He will be fine. The Bulls will be fine.
Derrick Rose will more than likely remain with the Bulls throughout his entire career, and they will always support him. He’s career isn’t over, because to me, it’s just barely getting started.

bloodRose is the best pg in league but what if he doesnt come as good as he was i would hate to see that…But at the end of the day Bulls just cant afford to trade Rose(first franchise player since MJ) and they must do everything they could to bring another superstar to town especially if Rose isnt at 100%

IndianaBasketballParticipantThere’s an article on NBA.com about Rose and he says his legs/lower body, core and upper body have NEVER been as strong as they are right now. Not only is he rehabbing his injury, he’s working on his entire body.
Rose has always been a hard worker as far as working on his game, but I think a lot of his athletic/physical gifts were God given. This injury is something like a blessing in disguise because it’s going to be what makes him put in that type of work ethic towards his body (physical and preventing injury training).
As long as he stays patient, I see no reason why he shouldn’t come back 100% and be an even stronger player overall.
I remember when D. Wade’s knee was broken down and Miami shut him down… After a summer of hard work with Tim Grover, he came back that next season stronger than ever. I look for Rose to do that same thing.
