WHAT'S GOING ON?
After being turned down by multiple big men already, they sure hit the panic button pretty fast, they've already shifted focus to plan Z.
They must really be desperate for size if they're willing to overpay Kwame Brown. At least it's only a one year deal though...
Wow. Apparently 10 years of below average play is not enough to convince some management that K. Brown shouldn't be an above average paid player. But K. Brown is only 29, so he should be in his physical prime. He should be a safe bet to be a mediocre center next year. I guess that is better than roling the dice on some rookie who might turn into a legit NBA player but who might also turn out terrible. Me, I would go with the rookie for $500,000 since the Warriors aren't winning anything this year anyway.
I think this is because of the salary floor. Teams have to spend atleast 85 or 90% of the salary cap. So naturally some players may get overpaid to hit that number. Just my opinion. This makes sense in this situation as it is 1 year.

I hear Kwame Brown will sign for Golden State for 1year/$7million... is this a joke or does this show how the Warriors are stubborn to overpay bigs??
