LOL, I wonder what's going on with the results. I did terrible with mine loool but I'm intrigued on who came close with their mocks to the actual draft this year. Even my younger brother did better than I did -_-** Harsh times loool !
think ProudGrandpa won
I had no clue who that was so I had to find his mock draft. http://www.nbadraft.net/nba_mock_drafts/33870/2011 . My brother had more picks right than he did .
well when do the results actually get posted?
No disrespect, but I dont think Proud Grandpa won.
I got 9 of the first 11 right, but after that, my mock was AWFUL.
i didnt add everything up exactly but im somewhere between 100-110 for my overall score
i just added mine up and i got 98 points. I think they should adjust the second round scoring though. Its 5 points for an exact pick in the 1st round with 3 points for being within 3 spots 2 points for being within 5 spots and 1 point for being within 10 spots. But then in the second round its 3 points for exact pick and everything else is just 1 point for being within 10. Personally i think its harder to get second rounder correct and it shouldnt be so lopsided how much more valuable the first round is.
I'm not sure how many points I had because I don't know how many point they give you if, for instance you pick somone at the end of the first round and he goes 3 spots later in the 2nd round. I don't know if that is 1st or 2nd round rules. I think I broke 100 though, probably not enough to win
Joe I was wondering the same thing in regards to someone going in the first round, but you have them a couple of picks later in the 2nd round.
I'm assuming if the player was picked in the first round then it remains as first round scoring.
So if you had Jimmy Butler at 32, and was picked at 30, then you would get 3 points.
Whereas in your instance.... " I don't know how many point they give you if, for instance you pick somone at the end of the first round and he goes 3 spots later in the 2nd round. I don't know if that is 1st or 2nd round rules.."
This would be second round scoring. If the player actually goes at 34, but you had him at pick 30, then it would be 1 pt since the draft was in the second round.
Atleast, that is how I look at it. Makes sense to me if it is scored in that manner.
