What's the latest on TMac and Iverson?
T-Mac said he'd play with the Knicks for the Vet Minimum.
And honestly, as a Knicks fan, I wouldn't be too pissed off at that if he shot a fine %age and kept his mouth and back shut.
I would love to see T Mac back with the Knicks I think he should be in better shape and able to provide a lot to a young team and maybe help the Knicks get to 50 wins
What role will he have, if he'll play for the Knicks again?
Will he possibly take on a second/third scorer-role to help Amare?
And did Iverson say anything where he might be going?
On the Knicks if he were just a simple scorer. Someone to put the ball in the basket in many different ways. We have the 3 pt shooters, and the guys in the paint, I think we need a guy who can do it from both, and I wouldn't mind T-Mac to be that guy
50 wins is a stretch but how many teams have won more games than people thought they would. I remember people though Suns would not make the playoffs and then they win like 50 something games and beat Lakers twice and give them a scare before losing in the conference finals.
My thing is I am prepare to say that because I am confident in what those players in that system can do.
I mean this has happened before with phoenix that played in a tough West
Knicks play in the East.
When the schedule comes out i will break it down for you.
Remember my posts and if I am wrong call me out on it.
and on that note of the Suns, I remember only you and I and a few other said the Suns would make the playoffs this year. And I said they could make the conference finals last year. This was in post where people had the Suns in the top 5 of this years lottery. I have to gloat about that, some guys are clowns with what they say. Some teams do play better than expected, but this Knicks team has 5 teams in its conference they may not win a game against plus another 4 or 5 in the west. This team at best is 41 and 41(give or take 2 or 3 wins). I expect them to be a 7 or 8 seed and lose in the 1st round.
i think hed be pretty good on the knicks now that he has amare there. i dont see it being a huge problem like i thought it would when he didnt have a legit low post scorer but now i think its ok. as for iverson i dont think he would have 2 much of a problem with the heat. and i don tfeel ego will be an issue anymore 4 him becuz he knows this is pretty much his last chance and he is goin 2 a team full of stars that are much better than him at this stage of his career. my only thing is wat can he provide as far as shooting and spacing the floor. becuz hes always been a drive and score or mid range guy. much like wade and bron
I honestly believe Atlanta should consider Allen Iverson. Mike Bibby is as done as done gets, and there is nothing certain about Jeff Teague. Iverson would also help them sell tickets during the regular season.
McGrady should head for San Antonio.
I remember that Trinajoe but I only said that Knicks could possibly win 50 if Tmac signed with them and was half the player he used to be.
Knicks will win game just off pace. Also they are deep so they could possibly win 50 in the regular season with that fire power. I doubt they will be able to play the same style in the playoffs. Every playoff team in the West got 50 wins. 50 wins is impressive and would be a huge deal for the Knicks but most good teams win 50 games at least. Only borderline teams got under that. I think with TMac, you would have to give Knicks the title for being a good team.
They won 29 game with a roster nowhere as deep as this one and nowhere as talented. Other teams did get better but it will still take some team so time to get chemistry same with Knicks but it doesnt take much for a player to come in and run and score as many points. It take longer for defensive schemes and half court sets.
They are also now have length and better defense in the front court. This is something they never had for a while.
They should score 105 points per game

Any news of them taking vet minimums with the Heat or Lakers?
