What's Next?

Unlike some other Raps fans I actually like this trade. We will have to wait and see if they all mesh and work well together but a lineup of lowry derozan gay bargs jo-val seems pretty legit to me. They even have some solid depth with T-ross, Alan Anderson, Fields and Amir coming off the bench. My only question to others is, do we keep bargs? If it were up to me I say we get rid of him and by atleast the start of next season and have a decent pf in replacement. Either signing a player like paul milsap in the offseason, or trading bargs and some other pieces for a david west or Pau Gasol? (bargs might work well next to a true big in Hibbert). I'd even trade bargs for a player like Andray Blatche even with his shaky background. Im just throwing out ideas... what do you guys think will end up happening with Toronto's beloved Primo pasta vera?

im just not sold on lucas

im just not sold on lucas being a backup and how amir will play without calderon...rmbr how effective those two are all the time because of calderons great ability to play the P&R. for me i would have rather had lowry go than calderon...it just seems like he fits more.

Not sure when Bargs became

Not sure when Bargs became "beloved" to Raps fans. I musta missed it.

In any event, I would take anything to get rid of Bargs. Cap space, a longterm contract even as little as a second round pick. That or I'd amnesty him just so I wouldn't have to look at him anymore... Of course none of this will happen because Colangelo is a mediocre GM who believes blindly in Bargs as a player. Colangelo should not be evaluating NBA talent let alone conducting trades.

The other guy I'd trade while he has value is Derozan so I could give the playing time to Ross.

After these 2 moves I'd play the waiting game, acquire picks, stay under the cap to absorb salary for picks (like OKC and Clev have done), develop the young guys.
