WHERE WOULD YOU GO
if you want weather sceanery and women, you cant beat pepperdine. I mean pepperdine is litteraly on the beaches of malibu like you can walk out of your class and walk to the ocean and jump in. Of course you arent gonna be getting any national recognition unless you pull some doug christie stuff.
As for my answer, I would honestly have to feel out the recruting process. The coach would mean a lot to me. I would defenitly want to stay west coast along the ocean somewhere with ucla, oregon, washington all getting serious consideration.
well my list would be
1. A Coaching staff who focuses on the Development of all players, No favoritism,
2. A Good Vet in my position who i could learn From
3. well i came to get a Free Education, so choose the best
4. lastly, quality of the training facility,
but not great prospect, with no "top" schools fighting for me, I would choose Butler.
The best coach in America. A chance to play right away against pretty good competition. Some national exposure. A chance to help build a growing program. A big city with a small town feel (Indianapolis). Pro team in town for summer games.
If i'm a swingman. whether it be small forward or shooting guard.I would pick Arizona state. They lose their swingman this year and Jahii carson will probably be back and they have a good underrated core group. If I am a top 30 wing in the class then that is where I am going.
Really depends on the caliber of player I'd be. If I was a consensus 5 star I'd probably go to UNC. If I was a 4 star or lower I'd go to Memphis, and if I wasn't good enough to go to Memphis I'd try to become the star at a really small program.
I really like Brad Stevens from Butler as a coach so if it was purely a basketball decision I would head there. If I were 18 again though I would surely not be making the decision purely on basketball and most likely end up at a school like UCLA or maybe Florida.
