The Splash DocParticipantI have a fantasy trade on the table and wanna know which group would you take
Group 1
Amar’e-B.Roy-Westbrook-Wilson Chandler
Group 2
Rondo-Scola-Ray Allen-Dorrell Wright

TooNice4TVParticipant1 – they’re far more consistent for the duration of the season in my opinion

mxhart532ParticipantTake group one because: 1.ray allen’s scoring is going to go down as rondo becomes more of a scorer this season, leaving Jesus as a 3 pt specialist. This coupled with Rondo’s shooting percentage set to go down as he takes more shots as the year goes on
2.I can’t see Scola keeping up his massive production to this point, especially after Aaron Brooks comes back healthy.
3. Amare, Roy, and Westbrook all consistently put up big numbers. With Wilson Chandler starting in D’Antoni’s system he will overachieve.

xavier328ParticipantI’d go with one….because your main three is going to give you alot points and Chandler is going to have some good nights…..and Westbrook and Roy they can make up Rondo Ast. with team two you would have to count on Scola and Ray Allen to have big nights.

mj23mj23besteverParticipantbreaking it down its actually a pretty even trade but imo id take team 1 for the over all consistancy they bring i dont see wright keepin up what hes doing all year now i would rather have rondo and scola then any two of those guys i love rondos assist and steals and rebounds from the pg pos and scola is a better fantasy big then amare all around but on the back end i dont like allen and wright over the back two which would be west brook and chandler imo id much rather have west brook and chandler than allen and wright which makes me say id take team 1

mikeyvthedonParticipantNo question. I mean, unless you need like, maybe .5 more treys per game, but the first group will win in pretty much every other category. You may even think Rondo would help group B take assists by a long shot, but Brandon Roy and Russell Westbrook would easily make up enough to make that category pretty even. Group A would destroy that fantasy trade, regardless of early season production from Scola. I have Amare and Scola on my team right now, and Scola is putting up better numbers, but I would still much rather have Amare, and I have Ray Allen and if some crazy person offered me Russell Westbrook, than it would be a done deal. Rondo puts up awesome fantasy numbers, but to me Russell Westbrook is very close in his own right, plus he scores more. Rondo takes him in assists, FG% and steals, but everything else Westbrook is better (Rebounds, Points, 3’s, FT% and blocks I would think). This trade is completely unfair, bottom line, unless you are in a fantasy league that awards you for doing worse in categories than the other person.

Toronto16Participant@mikeyvthedon There is no group "A". They are clearly marked 1 and 2.0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/10/2010 - 9:29am #431960
