Hello NBADraft.net forum! Am sorry I have not been able to post more, have been busy with practices and am working on write-ups to give you info soon. Hope you enjoyed the World Monday-Wednesday recap, I will be doing the USA practice recap and Aran is going to fill in what he saw from the World in the last few days. As far as the game goes, if I had to guess the starters, it would be:

World (Hard to predict, but will go with this)

C Clint Capela

F Karl Towns

F Damien Inglis

USA (Think this is probably what is happening)

G Theo Pinson (Even though they have been playing Kelly Oubre here at times)

So, to get on with the topic of this post, we saw two fantastic posterizations in the practices. Wanted to know which one you all found better. Props to my friend Ty Kish of City League Hoops for getting the vid on these, they were both epic:

A) Karl Towns on Nikola Jokic:

B) Kelly Oubre on Mike Moser:

So lucky to see them both live, from the side of the court which they happened. Have to say, as much as the Karl poster was incredible, I thought Oubre’s was better. Jokic has no hops, Moser is a 23 year old with some decent ups. Have had another fantastic week at the Hoop Summit in Portland. Wish we had the USA official measurements by now, hopefully will either get them e-mailed or they will be available at the game.

Also, we will have interviews. Aran talked to Mudiay, Okafor and Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk (who speaks english quite well). I got Karl Towns and Jamal Murray. All of them were great kids, good group this year as far as attitude is concerned. Should be a tight game at the Moda Center, 4 PM PST. Will be broadcast on ESPN2 (Paul Biancardi and Fran Fraschilla have been at the last few practices seeing what was going on), so hope you can tune in!

It will be hard for the world team to match up with USA on the wings.  Pinson, Johnson, Winslow and Oubre are bonafide freaks of nature.

 Kansas has some extremely long recruits.  Cliff Alexander has only a quarter in shorter wingspan that Turner.  If Ku can land Turner their 3,4,5 in will be the longest in the nation.  Oubre (7’2) Cliff (7’3.5) and Turner (73.75).  

Oubre is gonna be a great defensive stopper.  Kawhi type of defender possibly.  Love his game.  

Cliff has such a long wingspan that really helps him.  He is truly an aggresive player could stand to lose some weight but Kansas weight trainer has a great rep and he should only become more explosive with better training.
