Who is will be a second round Gem in this draft. Or is there any in the draft.
Jon Brockman's a guy who is a terrific rebounder and a good defender. In some ways he reminds me of Paul Milsap.
Whenever you're drafting in the 2nd round, the chance are small that the player will make your team. If you need a good role player who can rebound, Brockman is definitely worth a 2nd round choice.
I think Michah Downs will help a team more than expected. Scary athelete and shoots 40 percent from three. One of the best wing defenders in this draft.
I think if somebody gets Dominic James late (a guy who is not even on the mocks on this site) might get a surprise. He is crazy quick and has decent PG skills. He brings a lot of energy / passion as well, he just has to work on his jumper BIG-TIME.
If he elects to stay in the draft, and that's a big if, I think there's another guy who's definitely worth a 2nd round choice That would be Luke Harangody, someone who can both score and rebound. Players who can rebound and score are hard to find.
Everyone says he's too small to be an NBA Power Forward and that he lacks athleticism. Both of those assessments are probably true, but he won't be the last guy who didn't fit the mold and had a successful career.
I wouldn't use a number one choice on him, but if he's still on the board and I'm picking in the 2nd round, he would probably be near the top of my list.
I like Tony Douglas- he was the ACC DPOY and has good ball handling skills and good size for the PG. I don't think he will be a starter, but he looks like a really nice backup point as long as he doesn't force things on offence.
Danny Green looks like a good complementary player too, he is a good all around defensive player and has become a very smart offensive player- he provides good spacing and makes nice cuts to the basket.

I think Paul Harris could be a good role player for a team alot of people have him going 60th the last pick in the draft. If he was picked that low and came out as a 15 pint 5-6 rebounf guy he would be looked at as a superstar. I think.
