Why all the hype
As a starting guard for the Nevada Wolf Pack, Ramon Sessions averaged 8.8 ppg, 4.2 reb and 4.9 apg over a three year period. He then became the 56th overall pick to the Milwaukee Bucks. He played sparingly his rookie year and all of a sudden here in his sophomore year he has averaged 16.8 ppg, 4.2 reb, and 7.1 apg as a starting guard (note: those are his stats in the 24 games he has started , not the games he has come off the bench).
Neither one of those players are allstars... Westbrook might be oneday but not sessions
Rudy Gay was an above average player in college, and every1 knew he had the talent of an NBA allstar but he seemed lazy. He just is so smooth and he played for one of the better teams in college basketball HISTORY (even though they lost to George Mason unexpectedly, which didnt look so bad after their Final 4 run) so he wasnt going to have the 20 10 and 5 assists he probably couldve had on a lesser team. But back to the topic, you have to have some success in college to play in the NBA, so no it is not likely your going to name someone who (actually) struggled but is a good player in the league. Russell Westbrook didnt struggle in college and neither did Sessions, or any of the players listed as a matter of fact.
hey guy.. obviously no player who struggles is gna warrant undeserved hype.. the exception being demar derozan.. and i bet this whole topic was started bcoz of this guys very unimpressive yet short lived college career.. westbrook n sessions obviously didnt 'struggle' if they did they wouldnt be in the league right now. actually this whole topic doesnt make sense.. no one struggles n gets crazy hype.. so can anyone name any players who has struggled in college and went on 2 be all stars.. NO.
Rus Westbrook on UCLA

I dont get it can somebody name any players that struggle in college and went on to be all star NBA players (especially one and done freshmans) Thanks
