They did re-sign Scola, and
They did re-sign Scola, and just signed Brad Miller...If, and only if, Yao Ming can stay healthy, they will make a significant step up in the West considering how most teams lost players to the East. Who is the go to guy? Kevin martin? Mehhh, could be, but hasn't proven himself in that kind of situation. Yao Ming's health will tell the tale of how far Houston can go...

Because we're not Miami,
Because we're not Miami, L.A., or NY. Sure respect would be nice, but let them live the star life, we pride ourselves on playing hard, we don't need any media attention.

I don't get why people are sleeping on the Rockets. Yao Ming will be back. Aaron Brooks had a great year last year and he can shoot the ball lights out. They got Kevin Martin at the trade dealine last year and he can flat out score. They have some young and talented bigs in Patrick Patterson, Jordan Hill, and Chuck Hayes. Shane Battier is still a solid defender, Chase Budinger is a good shooter and playmaker, and Kyle Lowry will be back as a back up. I think they stack up well with other teams in the conference. Definitely better than in previous years when they made the playoffs.
What do you guys thing?
