and not Michigan? I realize it doesn't matter but I have wondered about that when looking at mock drafts.
You're thinking on Glenn Robinson III. Completely different player who did not declare for the draft.
Glen Rice Jr. is listed under USA because he was dismissed from Georgia Tech a while ago. He played in the D-League last season. Not sure why sites don't put his D-League team down instead of USA- but it's an unusual situation without much precedent.
Not that strange, professional players entering draft have their home countries listed
Well his father Glen Rice Sr. went to Michigan in the 80s but Glen Rice Jr. was a Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket as amare_apache pointed out before he got dismissed.
This site just doesn't have D-League as an option to say what team he's from. He also played at Georgia Tech prior to the D-League. Your either thinking of Michigan because that is where his dad played or your thinking of Glenn Robinson III.
Man at first I thought this was another attempt by European baller and those Spartans in Greece to steal yet another countrys native son. Like they did with the Anteto...Adetoku... Adetokomotumbo......the Nigerian small forward brothers.
short summary, after Glen Rice senior banged Sarah Palin he later conceived a child with Jr. mother on U.S. soil..and therfore he was born in the U.S.A.
