sahrgobucksParticipantIf you were Andrew Wiggins who would u play college basketball for? Kentucky looks like it will have a log jam as it is and Florida State isnt known for winning in cbball. I would go to Ohio State or Kansas.

i’m jus so offendedParticipantSo basically, since Wiggins could go wherever he wanted, this question is up to where the POSTER would want to go. In that case, if I was someone like World Wide Wes, I would advise him to go to Illinois or somewhere even obscure to build his own legacy. So in reality, FSU would be place to do such a thing

sahrgobucksParticipantwhen i said FSU wasnt know for winning i meant as a traditional powerhouse. How often do they get big time recruits?

omphalosParticipantI really hope he goes to FSU, they are a hard-working team that doesn’t get enough credit for the good work they do teaching players to be better defenders. I really like Michael Snaer, I think he could be a steal when he enters the draft; he’s still a bit raw offensively, but he’s a very hard worker who found the game late and I think he could be a Tony Allen type player in the NBA.

SiggyParticipantSnaer’s a senior, He’ll be in the draft. He’s still raw offensively which is pretty disappointing. Hamilton might be a good defensive coach, but I don’t think he’s good at all on the other end of the floor.
IMO, if Wiggins wants to improve as a player his 1 yr in college, out of all the schools who are supposedly on his list, Kansas or Ohio St would be the best choices.

omphalosParticipantIt’s true that Hamilton doesn’t create great scorers, but I think Wiggins will be able to learn to score in the NBA, and learning how to be an elite defender in college will serve him better than going to a team which will make him more of a scorer. I don’t think Wiggins will have problems developing his offensive game no matter where he goes, but learning how to defend as part of a team is going to be very valuable for a guy with his level of athleticism.
Just a difference of opinion I suppose.

Sewok15ParticipantFrom the way he is talking it seems like FSU is in his future. He should go number one regardless of where he plays but he could help make FSU a perennial ACC contender even if he only stays one year.

SubZeroParticipantAs much as I would love to see him putting people on posters in Rupp, I think FSU is pretty much a done deal. It would be awesome to see him create a legacy there

ncballerThere has been some chatter that UNC is a lot more in this than people think. Sure hope so.

rickybobbyParticipantI’ve heard that one of Wiggins coaches said that UNC is actually leading the charge right now. IDK how true that is since mostly everyone is saying Kentucky and FSU, but UNC is lacking that superstar to make a major run at a title and Wiggins fit that piece.

CavsFan07ParticipantUsed to play for one of H Preps assistants and he told me its UNC or Kansas. Shocked me as I thought it was between UK/FSU.

CAROLINA BLUE NICKParticipantEven though I am a Carolina fan and hope he does come to UNC, UNC wouldn’t benefit him in terms of showing how good he can be in the NBA. Roy Williams thrives off his pg and C. Barnes struggled under Roy, and Paul Pierce didn’t have people he would be a future Hall of Famer coming out of Kansas under Roy as well. I also think McAdoo is suffering from this as well. McAdoo will be a much better pro then people are giving him credit for. Kansas or FSU would better suit Wiggins. A sleeper would be Ohio State

I call DUCKTALES!
Oh and to answer the topic I would be all up in that FSU uniform just for the honeydips they had ready to salute the main Canadian Mountie Wiggins.
Think about it, if they are that willing just for a visit they will be Rudeboys mom levels of sleezy if he can bring them a title or even a good tourney run.

GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantIf he doesn’t mind losing he should go to FSU. Also just because his friend and teammate is going there means nothing. Plenty of top ranked teammates don’t play for the same school. Actually most don’t . He has said nothing about who is leading nor has his family so the FSU pick is nothing but a guess from someone and others just run with it while trying to make it a rumor or fact
