3–6Andrew Wiggins dropped 32 points on Alice Lloyd college with throngs of UK fans packing the gym in Pippa Passes Kentucky. The fans at Alice Lloyd risked life and limb to catch of a glimpse of Andrew Wiggins and Huntington Prep. http://www.CityLeagueHoops.net

Mr. 19134ParticipantWiggins body is filling out nicely he is without a doubt a forward at the next level, not a SG. He really needs to go pro until he can declare for the draft because him playin against that type of competition is just a waste of time it’s ridiculous.
Am I the only person who thinks if Wiggins grows an inch or 2 he could become a Blake Griffin type PF in the league? He got the hops and physicality to really excel at PF especially in today’s game.

3–6blake griffin type? …not really, he likes the perimeter too much. even if he grew to 6’9 he would be more of a SF than PF, way more versatile than blake griffin…. that would be straight ridiculous though.
there was some1 in here who said wiggins ”has one thing going for him, he’s gonna be the most athletic player ever in the nba” and got mad negs…
to tell you the truth, i agree. he’s gonna go down as one of the best athletes of all times in the nba

jwostrumParticipantthats like domonique wilkins jumping ability. he reminds me when i watch him of someone who was set to be a boston celtic. Len Bias!!!!!!

Mr. 19134ParticipantNow that I think about it Wiggins does play like Len Bias who BTW was a combo forward.
I mean Blake Griffin type in that, Wiggins is somebody who can come in and just set the league on fire based on just physical gifts. If Wiggins grows to 6’9 with his wingspan, and he seems to have no trouble adding muscle, he would become a nightmare in the post with his quickness and hops. If you give Wiggins the ball at the elbow he’s gonna be able to hit that jumpers or blow by his man and elevate to the rim before the defense can rotate.
Wiggins also looks like he can become a good shot blocker. I know he’s played on the wing his whole life, but considering his gifts he should start looking to go in the post more. Look at what Lebron was able to do once he started going in the post.
And I’m still not convinced that Wiggins is a better athlete then Lebron. Lebron was equally mind blowing in high school and continues to be to this day. It was Lebrons combination or speed, power, and coordination even more then his hops which makes him special. Wiggins speed and coordination just aren’t on Lebrons level, and his strength isn’t even close.

jwostrumParticipantnot a lot of people have seen tape on len, but he was drafted in the top 5 all those years ago, and he was considered to be a once in a decade talent, and he was sick at maryland. its a damn shame he never got to play in the nba because he would have been one of the best ever.

kingofbumsParticipantthis kid play back in his hometown highschool when he was in grade nine or ten i forgot, battling head to head against kevin pangos (gonzaga pg) to be honest at that time i never thought of him as much especially because it was toronto and i knew its a big step from canada to the states…
but my oh my has he improved his game…he is really taking it to a new level…whether he is overhyped or not no one will know yet but he is definitely an exciting player to watch…

Krypt14ParticipantHe is a left hand away from being unstoppable at any level. Every time you see him he gets better, which I like a lot. Jump shot and handle coming along very nicely!
