HadzialijagicParticipantIn two straight televised games he has slowed down the 2 best players in the nation Jabari Parker and Shabbazz Muhammad this guy is a defensive beast we got to give him some love. Where do you think he projects as an nba prospect?

OhCanada-ParticipantWinston Shepard is one of the top players in Vegas I love this guy. He is long and lanky, a great overall CONTROLLED athlete, smart kid with good upside that should make an impact in college. He is so raw though right now all his talent is from a defensive aspect to make it in the NBA he will at least have to get together a consistant jumper, some handles, and a bit more skill finishing.
He reminds me of a raw Kawhi Leonard with less core strength and more lankiness I guess.

OhCanada-ParticipantHe needs to go to a school that will stockpile him and develop him correctly. It would also be great for him to go to a school with some more top recruits at a similar position for him to play behind, mirror, and shadow his offensive game after.

mikeyvthedonParticipantThink he would be a fantastic fit, we already have a nice class coming in. Dana Altman definitely is a very defensive minded coach and is great at teaching fundamentals. From this year to last, our players have shown incredibly measurable improvement and I really like what we are building. I know Anthony Bennett just announced us in his top 5, but I think he goes to Kentucky or possibly Florida (his other two were UNLV and Washington, two other solid schools for him).
As soon as I heard Winston had interest in us, I was incredibly happy. Just think it would be a perfect match. He seems like a guy who knows his role and plays it incredibly well. Think he would develop wonderfully in our new program. Dominic Artis was a monster get for us as well and I am hoping he convinces either Shepard or Bennett to come and play with him at Oregon. We also have Ben Carter (PF from Bishop Gorman) and Daymean Dotson (SG/SF from Yates in Texas, great school). We have at least two spots available and I really hope Winston Shepard takes one, think he would really flourish as a Duck. Oklahoma State, UNLV and San Diego State also seem to be in play for him.

providencefriars1ParticipantI just read his scouting report on ESPN and he seems exactly like Leonard-"Athletic forward that can make plays on the break and inside the arc in the half court. Shepard does a good job on the glass as well. As his shooting and ball handling improve so will his ability to play some small forward but he is more of a power forward now that plays with great energy most of the time."I guess this means SDSU would be a good fit right. It also says he’s considering St johns, Oregon, UConn, SDSU, UTEP, New Mexico, Oklahoma St, and UNLV but Oregon has not offered0 - AuthorPosts
