The8thDeadlySinParticipantOne observation that I have..
Wisconsin is 7 in the nation and doesnt have a single player in either mock draft on this site… That weird to anyone else?

JNixonParticipantKendall Marshall is out there putting on a passing clinic. That guy throws dimes.

fgrrghgParticipant… but ya i think unc will pull away in this game, other than taylor wisconsin doesnt have anyone who can create their own shot.
Also, i know everyone loves barnes.. but i’m just not that impressed by him. He looks slow out there, i just dont really see him being anything better than a good 3rd option in the nba..

The8thDeadlySinParticipantHe isnt slow.. He is under control.. Kobe looks slow too but he isnt…

fgrrghgParticipantya i agree he’s under control, seems like a smart player for sure.. He just doesn’t consistently get by people. I guess his game is more mid range but i just dont see the same upside in him as someone like lamb

IndianaBasketballParticipantMarcus Williams is a good comparison for Kendall Marshall.
Whoever that guy is with the flat top on Wisconsin is garbage.

JNixonParticipantKendall Marshall lacks quickness. It’s a concern on D, he really struggles keeping guys out of the lane. And most of the time it’s not even a guy with super quickness.

JNixonParticipantYeah Marcus Williams is the best comparison for Marshall. But with better conditioning and more coachable.
John Henson has gotten alot better over the past 2 years. It’s impressive, he has hooks with both hands now and his hands are some of the best in college basketball. He makes impressive catches on post entries and on the offensive glass.
Jordan Taylor makes good decisions running Wisconsin’s offense, but he really struggles with getting separation off the bounce for his shots and to finish around the rim. That’s why I don’t like him much as an NBA prospect. He really is a subpar finisher around the rim.

M-DYMESParticipantTill this day Marcus Williams has been one of my biggest misses on evaluating an NBA prospect. Really thought that kid was going to be at least a great game manager and leader. Especially when he went to the Nets and got to sit behind Kidd, I thought that would have been the ideal situation for him and he would be successful come his time.

GrandmamaParticipantHenson looks much improved. His post game has improved dramatically, and he is a beast on the defensive end. I think he will keep creeping up draft boards, and will find himself as a lottery pick come the 2012 draft. He’s added a little bit of weight, but he still needs to pack on about 20-25 pounds.

GrandmamaParticipantThe only thing I don’t like about the Marshall/Williams comparison is that Williams could actually knock down some shots. Marshall’s inability to shoot is scary. He drops some dimes though.

JNixonParticipantI swear to you, I dont see how anyone could think James McAdoo is good enough to go 1 and done. I really, REALLY dont see it.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantIf he went to Kentucky, everyone would be raving over him.. Since he has to play in a system with UNC, he is a bad player…
Meh, he is a good player..

JNixonParticipantIf he went to Kentucky he would be in the same situation. There is no difference really
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/30/2011 - 6:25pm #610663
WizardofOzParticipantYeah I always thought McAdoo was overrated. He played well in the All-Star games, but those are only good for showcasing athleticism.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantIm just talking about the hype… If Danile Orton is a 1 and done at Kentucky then this guy could do the same..
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/30/2011 - 6:30pm #610669
JNixonParticipantI said McAdoo isn’t good enough to be a 1-and-done. Daniel Orton wasn’t good enough either. McAdoo might declare, maybe, but what would it prove? That him and Daniel Orton both were 1-and-done?

The8thDeadlySinParticipantI think he could be a nice PF at the next level.. He is raw right now but there are lots of raw players in the NBA..

JNixonParticipantAnd that’s exactly why he shouldn’t declare…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/30/2011 - 6:42pm #610675
The8thDeadlySinParticipantI agree 100 percent.. I think more college is always better… I would love to see the average career of an NBA player in college be 3 years..

JoeJoParticipantI can’t believe how awkward McAdoo has looked thus far. I saw him in a U-18 game overseas and in the high school all-star games and thought he looked fantastic but he’s just looked off to me at UNC. The tenditis he had in knee could be affecting him. I hope so. The most puzzling thing about him is his outside shot. It looks like he shoots it with two hands. It’s very unusual and mostly off-target.
I think he’ll be a very good college player in time. If he stays for his junior year, he could be an All-American but I’m not seeing a future super-duper star in him right now.
