I'm guessing you only mean starters so Calderon and Barbosa wouldn't be an option because DeRozan has started every game at shooting guard and he plays pretty good defense.

DeRozan is decent but I would still include Toronto's backcourt because they are 30th in the league for defense.

how is this even a contest? How are the warriors doing? Awful and a lot of it has to do with the fact that Curry and Ellis can't guard a grandma

kyle lowry is the current starter in houston and hes a solid defender so brooks and martin probably isn't a legit option...

but i vote for monta and curry, neither care about defense...but aaron brooks and kevin martin are both terrible defenders due to their slight body structures (161 and 185 lbs.)

Ellis and Curry immediately sprang to mind although they are prolific scorers, defence isn't really their thing. Toronto must be considered as well although I agree that DeRozan is improving as a defender as his game matures.

It seems like every opponants back court goes for season and career highs against the Wolves.

The cavs backourt is the worst by default their whole team sucks defensively and offensively. I would go with the warriors next because if their backcourt played any d they should be one of the better teams they score alot but give up more.

Curry and Ellis aren't a terrible defensive backcourt. The issue is they ae one of the worst teams in the paint on D. They Ellis-Curry combo is actually decent on that man to man D front.

I'm gonna say the worst backcourt is in Minnesota AND New Jersey. Jersey has Harris and Morrow, who lack defensive speed even though Harris is fast, he's one of the more underrated bad defenders in the league. Morrow never learned D in GS. Minnesota with the Ridinour/Flynn/Telfair trio at PG is bad all around. At SG, they're just young at the spot with Wes taking some time there, but he's a good defender for his age. Brewer is all defender but he's just good at that spot...not at all elite.

Im a derozan fan and im voting the raptors back court. Its horrible right now. But derozan is improving alot

Curry is a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE defender, but can get steals but outside of that is TERRIBLE

Monta is decent, slightly above average

your right, they arent terrible but not great... Problem is Lee sucks on defense and Biedrins decides to turn it on or off whenever he wants, when he does he's like Monta. Decent, otherwise he sucks and yes Morrow is a terrible defender. I thinky Minny has a bad defensive rotation but starting wise Wes J will be fine with time

I loled when I read Butidonthavemoney's post, and I am going with Calderon and Barbosa, Toronto has been THE worst defensive team as of late and they definately have not been helping.
