Would Bron-Bron sign a 3 yrs deal?
Yes I could see a 3 yr deal but not with the Clips.
Baron Davis isn't an asset anymore though with Lebron he would benefit.
How come no one talks about Rudy Gay to the Clippers that is a lot more likely to happen.
That's hilarious you called EJ "Egor" lol.
I do think LeBron will consider signing a three year deal wherever he goes, especially if he decides to stay in Cleveland.
Not to get off topic, although I am, saw Common at the House of Blues Chicago a few years back, small venue. Best show I have ever seen. He went into a 20 minute freestyle of all the old greats...Rakim, EPMD, Erick Sermon, Slick Rick, etc. He is a smooth cat.
Anyways, I believe the Jordan thing is over hyped but I just don't see him sharing a town with Kobe. I do however like the idea of a 3 year deal. Like you said, he would only be 28 and could still get a long term max deal.
i know this because its the damn clippers
1, its the clippers won of the worst franchises in the nba and they are cursed
2, why the hell would any top player while kobe is in the NBA want to play in that building and be the lakers little brothers
3, IF im lebron i want to beat KOBE in the finals to prove im the best in the league
4, and lebron's road to the finals would be easier in the east
Lehype is going to sign a 3 year extension with the Cavs after they sign Joe Johnson
A. to keep pressure on management to bring in talent
B. The Nets are moving to Brooklyn in 3 years and that is ultimitely where he wants to go
1) The Cavs can't sign Joe Johnson.
2) I can't see the Nets or any other team sitting on cap space for 3 years, even for Lebron. There are many other good FAs out there, including Durant & Melo next year. Coincidentally, Melo was born in Brooklyn. If he wants to team up with Jay Z & Prohkorov in Brooklyn, he'll have to sign on now. Otherwise he could be watching Lopez, Wall/Turner/Favors, Melo, Jay Z & Proky clubbing it up holding the NBA Championship Trophy in a couple of years.
I think Lebron will shoot to sign a 4 or 5 year deal with a player's option after 3 years, wherever he signs. Not as part of a master plan to join the Nets when they're ready to move to Brooklyn, but rather to get one more chance at free agency before he hits 30. At 28/29 he'll be able to get another max contract. At 30/31 his options for a max deal will become more limited.
Netsfan what are you talking about? The Cavs can sign Johnson. Shaq's 20 mill is up after the season. The Cavs will get Johnson atleast 17 mill of that money trust me, and he will be thrilled. One thing is forshure no more excuses for Lehype after this gets done
Williams/Telfair/Gibson
Johnson/Parker/ and that African cat that they drafted last year
James/Green/Moon
Jamison/Hickson/Powe
Shaq/Frye/Ilgauskas
Johnson in a sign and trade for Delonte West and possibly a worthless filler like Jawad Williams
Joe Johnson coming to the cavs i s a nice addition if they can do that I think he stays if not he signs a three yr deal again. I think bron wade and bosh should all sign three yr deals again
Even with Shaq's $20mil off their books, they're still over the cap. Even if Lebron leaves, they can't afford to sign Johnson.
The salary cap is about $56mil. The Cavs had a salary of $85mil with Shaq. Without Shaq, but with Lebron, they'll be committed to $65mil in salary this year. Even without Lebron, they'll still be at about $49mil in salary, leaving them only $7mil under the cap.
If Lebron leaves, Cleveland is done. If he stays, they can only add a player getting the mid-level exception.
Nets is absolutely correct
5 year contract with with a players option on the 4th and 5th season.
the only thing i see bron doing is signing a 3 year deal. I mean he will stay in cleveland in hopes of winnning and bringin a ring there. In which time he will leave and head 2 brooklyn and play 4 Jay z
when he does go 2 brooklyn he will most likely sign a max deal worth 5 years because i think he will be 28 or 29 by then and will be tryin 2 get all th emoney he can while he can

I asked this b/c if this is even a possibility the Clips are his best choice. B.Diddy has 3 yrs left on his contract, Egor has 2 yrs left on his rookie deal w/t a qualifying offer for a third in 2013. Blake has 3 yrs left on his rookie contract, only Kaman has 2 yrs left on his current deal which expires after 2012 season. Implying, that if Bron signs a 3 yrs deal w/t the Clips he's guaranteed to play w/t this current group of players for a couple of seasons. And if the The Donald decides to become stingy and not resign any of those players once their contracts are up. Bron can simply become a FA after 3 yrs at the young age of 28 and get a max deal somewhere else.
