Would you trade Jamaal Charles for Randy Moss? (please, I need opinions)

It depends. Randy Moss is getting up there in age(33-years-old), but still had a great season last year(83 REC, 1,264 YDS, and 13 TDS) while playing with an off-year Tom Brady. Tom Brady had a pretty good year stat-wise, but he didn't seem like the Tom Brady of old and wasn't the same QB he used to be. Now with Tom Brady 2 years removed from that knee injury, I think he will have a great year, and because of that, Randy Moss has the potential to have a better year than he had last season. And Randy is on the last year of his contract, which might motivate him to play well.

Jamaal Charles is a very talented player, but KC will probaly start Thomas Jones by the start of the regular season, even though they shouldn't. Jones is a power runner and isn't a good fit for KC'S offense. He also had a dissapointing preseason, while Charles had a great preseason. If KC puts there offense on the shoulders of Jamaal Charles, he will be a top-10 fantasy back, but I think that KC will start Thomas Jones and that will hold Charles back.

Because KC has Thomas Jones, I would go with Moss.

I don't think I'm getting much for Jackson. I'm reading he's likely to sit out the season...

You really think Charles won't start? I'm surprised by that, is that what the consensus is right now? I havn't been keeping up with football news (no cable, no internet). I was thinking he was a given to start.

He might. I think Kansas City brought Jones in because they aren't certain that Charles has the abilty to flourish as the sole feature back seeing that he got those crazy stats last season only during the last 8 games of the season.

When KC's first depth chart was released, Thomas Jones was the starting RB. Last season, KC head coach Tod Haley placed Dwayne Bowe far down the depth chart in preseason last year, only to jump him back up to the first team once the season began. So this could just be a motivational technique.

Jones is 32, but he still has some gas left in the tank. He's certainly no scrub, but I still think that Charles should start. The way I see it, they both have a 50-50 chance to start. It's no gurantee yet.

i would take moss over charles easily. think of fast backs that have had good years or had alot of potential. steve slaton, reggie bush they have chances to have good seasons but moss is almost guaranteed 1000 yards and 10tds. and probably more. take moss and be happy with best and rice as your backs.

I'm more depth at Rb than Wr. Felix Jones, Ray Rice, McFadden, and Best from Detroit are on my squad. Good, but a lot of question marks. I feel like I need to replace Vincent Jackson. My other wideouts are Desean Jackson, Dez Bryant, amd Kenny Britt from the Titans. My TE is Winslow Jr btw.
