Hey you guys, with Kobe Bryant's continued climb up the historic books has his place in your all time's greats list changed? Has Lebron's super season compelled you to add him in there? Just asking who are you're top 15 nba players of all time?
And is Kobe's ranking affected by his newly found love for twitter?
1.mj 2.magic 3.lebron 4.hakeem 5. Kobe 6.shaq 7.bird 8.duncan 9.karem 10.durant 11.barkley 12. Malone 13. Kg 14. Chris Paul 15. Iverson
^your a brave soul. I think alot of posters are avoiding this post because if they post their list 9/10 they will get negged to hell.
LeBron is too low, switch him and shaq out and move Kobe a couple spots up
16. Dr J
Its hard not putting my fav player of all time Earl the Pearl on this list haha but i know better. Kobe my 2nd fav tho
Statistically you can put Lebron in the top 5, but i have to have him 11 simply because of the rings. If he gets 3 or more, hes top 5-7 no doubt
I 4Got to put a number 6,and so did Taylor Gang Mike...LMAO...
1. MJ - Hands down the greatest
2. Wilt- Dominated on the court and in the bedroom
3. Magic- Most Versatile player ever
4. Lebron- If he wins 3 or 4 more titles he could move to 2nd
5. Bird- The stretch 4 didn't really exist in the 80's but Larry Bird invented it
6. Russell- All he does is win
7. Kareem- He scored a lot and won alot
8. Kobe- Same ^
9. Dr. J- He changed the game was played in the air and with ABA #'s is one of all time greatest scorers
10. Duncan- He gets the nod over Shaq because he was more skilled and won without a dominant scoring partner.
I know I'm gonna get negged, but YOLO
9. Bill Russell
11. Big O
12. Karl Malone
13. Elgin Baylor
14. Jerry West
15. Tim Duncan
16. Clyde Drexler
They are not that far off, especially after Jordan, it's like you could make a case for quite a few players for who would come next...
lots of players would make honerable mention. could name easily 20.
when the word "greatest" was mentioned, I only took into consideration of greatest on the court. however greatest as in how a player effected the game, Kevin Garnett would have to be included. He revolutionized the sport in a sense. He's the reason there is now a salary cap, and he was the first high school player in quite some time to come out to the pros and even made it the cool trend in following years til they changed the rules. On the court he's honerable mention, but count what he did to change the sport and it's a different story.
Lebron will go down as a top 5 player, simply incredible, but he hasn't achieved enough rings and he's only halfway through his career. If he was to have a career-ending injury tomorrow and we waited a few years, putting him in the top 5 would look silly. Those people that have put Lebron 5 spots ahead of Oscar Robertson really lack a sense of perspective.
i get what your saying about lebron being able to move up. but i get how people can put lebron ahead of oscar now already. the big "o" only won one title and it was with kareem. only one mvp.
Kobe is a great player but I'm old enough to remember the Big O, Oscar Robertson, who to this day, is the greatest player I ever saw in terms of all around skills. He could do everything! The only player with the Big O's overall skill set was Magic. And both Jerry West and Larry Bird should be in everyone's top ten list.
The best defender of all time was Bill Russell.
And of course I cannot disagree with anyone who says Michael Jordan was the greatest player ever.
11. Big O
2 - 6 are completely interchangeable and if Kobe wins one more title he can also be interchangeable.
4) Magic Johnson
11) West (Jerry, not Mark)
15) It's a close call, but I'm gonna have to go with Malone (Karl, not Moses or Jeff) over Dalen Qualls
#1 pick, and by MJ of all people. That's GOTTA count for something. Maybe before Kobe...?
