Charlotte has traded Tyson Chandler and Alex Ajinca to Dallas for Dampier, Matt Carroll and Najera, a league source tells Y! Sports.
I don’t really get why MJ did this trade. It’s worse than the Calderon trade.

This deal would let MJ save a little money this year but take on Jose’s last year. It gives the Bobcats a PG that is pass-first and a good shooter.

This deal would let MJ save a little money this year but take on 2 more year of Carroll and 1 more year
of Najera. Also, Diaw is still with the team. They get two backup that probably won't contribute much while shipped out a young atheletic 7-footer (although raw, still has potential).
There's no logic for MJ to prefer a worse deal. Any idea?
