You get to visit a number of interesting places when you're one of the nation's most coveted basketball recruits.

The latest journey for 5-star Madison Academy sophomore combo guard

was to one of basketball's most hallowed venues, Duke's Cameron Indoor Stadium, for the Blue Devils' game against archrival North Carolina last Saturday.

Both Duke and the Tar Heels are recruiting Langford.

"It was a great atmosphere," Langford said. "The fans take it to the next level at Duke. To be able to experience two of the greatest teams in college basketball play each other was a great experience. The intensity of the game was great."

The weekend trip also included a stop to N.C. State, which has offered Langford. The Wolfpack are headed by former Alabama coach Mark Gottfried.

"I got to visit the school, practice facilities, and talked to coach Gottfried and the rest of the coaching staff," Langford said. "They all showed great hospitality."

Langford said he is recovering well from a

that caused him to miss the final 12 games of Madison Academy's season. He expects to be back playing full contact in less than two weeks.

Next up for Langford is AAU ball with the Atlanta Celtics U17 team.

"I'm just getting back into the swing of things," he said, 'and I'm ready for the summer season."
