EAST LANSING -- Monday night in Stillwater, Okla., Marcus Smart participated in Oklahoma State basketball's senior night festivities alongside actual seniors Markel Brown and Mason Cox.

Smart's involvement in the ceremony was a clear sign that the sophomore guard -- currently ranked No. 6 on Chad Ford's NBA draft Big Board -- was playing his last game in Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Meanwhile in East Lansing, there is a very real possibility that sophomore Gary Harris also could be playing in his last game at the Breslin Center. Real possibility, yes. But not a forgone conclusion.

Harris was asked directly Tuesday whether Thursday's home game would be emotional for him in addition to the seniors, considering the fact that it may be his last game in Breslin as well.

"I mean, I think we should all feel like that," Harris said. "I haven't decided what my status is going to be, but it's our last time playing in Breslin until next year. If you think about it, that's a long time. This came fast. This is the last time the fans get to see us here and then it's off to the Big Ten tournament and then off to wherever we go in the NCAA (tournament)."

Harris -- who is ranked the No. 11 prospect and a possible NBA lottery pick according to Ford -- decided to return for his sophomore season despite being projected as a lottery pick in the 2013 NBA draft.

Harris leads the Big Ten in scoring with 17.9 points per game this season.

"For us to come out here and end the season on a good note after losing the last two home games, I think it's huge for all of us to come out here and get a win for the fans and for ourselves.

"Our last game here at the Bres until the following season."
