Nate Wolters, South Dakota State Jackrabbits
Nate WoltersThe 6’3” Guard broke out for a season high 53 point game vs. IUPUI on February 8th (more than any player over the past four seasons, since Jodie Meeks dropped 54 on Tennessee in 2008-09) and has put together a strong push at the end of conference play by averaging 33.4 PPG and 5 APG over his last five games. He has led his team to a 3-2 record and one loss in overtime. The Jackrabbits have improved to 21-8 and are looking to secure a bid in the upcoming NCAA Tourney. Wolters is currently averaging 21ppg, 6apg, and 6rpg over his senior campaign. He has helped his Jackrabbit team improve to a 12-3 record in Conference.

University of Memphis
The Memphis Tigers have compiled a very impressive 22-3 record thus far this season and 12-0 in Conference USA play. The Tigers are being led by Joe Jackson 13.7 PPG and 48% from behind the arc and sophomore Adonis Thomas averaging 11.8 PPG. This team could make some noise in the NCAA Tournament and they figure to be a favorite in their opening round match up.

Creighton Bluejays
Creighton Bluejays have hit a rough spot during their season having lost three straight games within the Missouri Valley Conference. The Bluejays have fallen to 2nd in the MVC and still have Wichita State at home and at St. Mary’s College, which could help them right their season heading into the conference tournament.
Top Three Upcoming Games
Virginia Commonwealth at Butler
This game will be very interesting as Butler and VCU collide in Indiana. This game will be a contrast in styles and approaches to the game of basketball. VCU prefers to full court press and an up-tempo style; Butler would prefer to slow the game and grind out the shot clock.
San Diego State at New Mexico
This matchup is a rematch of the Jan. 26 game, where San Diego State easily handled the Lobos in a 55-34 win. I expect this game to be much closer game as the Lobos look for some revenge as they face the Aztecs.
Wichita State at Creighton
Creighton looks to avenge a 3 point loss at Wichita State, when they host the Shockers in a season finale at home which should be interesting as this may very well be Doug McDermott’s last game in a BlueJay uniform.

Back when Jimmer was doing his thing there was so much hype nationally about him. I know BYU is a bigger deal than SDkta St, but they are still both mid majors. Jimmer's hype turned him into a lottery pick. To me Wolters is a much more well rounded player and overall just a better prospect. And he's more than likely going to be a 2nd rounder in a weak draft. Not saying he should go lottery, but i think he should at least get some looks at the end of the 1st. I wish he would get a little bit more recognition nationally for how good he is.
