Ben McLemore

  1. Cleveland | Ben McLemore | 6-5 | 190 | SG | Kansas | 21

Bobcats need a scorer to add to their new up-tempo and fast paced identity. McLemore is perhaps the best fit as the Bobcats lack a "pure" shooter (Kidd-Gilchrist and Kemba Walker round out their backcourt). Shabazz may be too much of a risk, but Michael Jordan has pulled the unthinkable before. My guess is McLemore lands here, but I will be SLIGHTLY shocked if Shabazz is taken number 1 overall based on his pedigree and potential.
Nerlens Noel

  2. *Orlando | Nerlens Noel | 6-11 | 206 | PF/C | Kentucky | 20

Marcus Smart

  3. Washington | Marcus Smart | 6-4 | 220 | PG | Oklahoma State | 20

Anthony Bennett

  4. Charlotte | Anthony Bennett | 6-7 | 240 | SF/PF | UNLV | 21

Bennett must transition into a small forward to keep up in the NBA. The PF forward spot is pretty much locked up with Tristan Thompson, same goes with SG and PG in Dion Waiters and Kyrie Irving respectively. Nerlens Noel would be a gamble if he is taken by Cleveland because the Cavs are already a offensive liability with Tristan Thompson and Anderson Varejao/Tyler Zeller up front. Bennett can stroke the 3 and play inside-out. While he may have an explosive leap and has shown flashes of great athleticism, the college SF is nowhere as athletic and versatile as an NBA SF (Rudy Gay, Paul George, Carmelo Anthony to name a few). Bennett must work on guarding on the perimeter and adding a solid handle and mid range game to his repetoire. Having a fellow Canadian in Tristan Thompson may in fact help ease his transition, as well as keep the two as the core to the Cavaliers future.
