NCAA Power 16: Feb. 7th
Power 16 | Record | Comment |
1. Connecticut | 21-1 | Ten straight wins including a dominant performance against Louisville on Monday |
2. North Carolina | 20-2 | Since losing to WF, five of six wins have come by 17 or more. |
3. Oklahoma | 22-1 | The best player in the country has a worthy sidekick in Willie Warren. |
4. Pittsburgh | 20-2 | No depth behind Blair and Biggs in the frontcourt will hurt come tournament time. |
5. Wake Forest | 17-3 | The young Demon Deacons can’t expect Teague to be Superman every night. |
6. Louisville | 17-4 | Clark (2-16) looked terrible against UConn’s mammoth front line. |
7. Duke | 19-3 | Interior play an obvious weakness for Coach K’s squad. |
8. Clemson | 19-2 | Made a statement by handing Duke their worst loss in twelve years. |
9. Marquette | 20-3 | Were bound to lose a conference game at some point. But South Florida? |
10. UCLA | 18-4 | Have looked dominant in three wins after that loss to Washington. |
11. Xavier | 20-2 | Better focus on Duquesne rather than that game on Feb. 11th. |
12. Butler | 20-2 | Loss to Green Bay leads you to question how serious this team is. |
13. Gonzaga | 16-4 | Appear to have righted the ship after early season hiccup. 9 straight wins. |
14. Villanova | 18-4 | Dante Cunningham has become the star of a very good Wildcats’ team. |
15. Purdue | 17-5 | A tough loss at OSU in OT without Robbie Hummel. |
16. Syracuse | 18-5 | The talent is there; consistency is the main issue for Flynn & Co. |

Michigan State Spartans
What the Fuck what about the Michigan State Spartans who are ninth and are amazing and underrated they have a sick nasty guards in Kalin Lucas and Athletic Phenom Durrell Summer!!! Come on you joking me.
I agree
Purdue?? State is better than the Boilermakers
Questionable
State just lost to Northwestern and Penn State in the last 3 weeks. Purdue lost a couple close ones but have been hurt by injuries. Luckily tuesday they play eachother and we can see who wins this debate.
